Revelation

Joel 2:28 reads “And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions. 20Even on my servants, both men and women, 1 will pour out my spirit in those days. 301 will show wonders in the heavens and on the earth, blood and fire and billows of smoke. 3IThe sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord. 32And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved, for on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there will be deliverance, as the Lord has said, among the survivors whom the Lord calls.”

About three years ago I had a dream. I wrote down the essence of this dream the next morning, because it was so unlike any dream I have ever had, either before or since. The interpretation of this dream was that if I read a passage in the bible over and over, it would gradually become clear as to the meaning of the passage that I was reading. After three years of reading the bible in general I developed a desire to understand the meaning of Revelation, so recently I spent about six months trying to understand it. As I spent time reading a passage over and over, the passages seemed to reveal their meaning to me. So I now wonder if this was just a dream, or has God made Joel’s prophecy come true through me? As I am an old man who had a dream. The following is very different from the traditional interpretations of Revelation, but is the interpretation that I believe was given to me from God, if it comes true then I will know it was from God.

I have written Revelation starting with the reformulation of Israel and for the most part going forward in time chronologically. I will write about all the seals and trumpets, and their interpretation. I believe the seals are all events that occur, and it will probably take forty years to open all seven of them (as forty is a number that God frequently uses). I also believe that the tribulation does not start until the sixth seal, and that the first three seals are already open. I will also write about when the fourth seal will occur and the time that the third temple will be completed. I also believe that there are three gatherings of the elect, and will use the bible (NIV) extensively to explore all of these revelations to me. The reformation of Israel was prophesied in many books of the bible, among them were, Joel 3:1-2, Amos 9:8-12 and in several areas in Ezekiel 11:17, 36:28, 37:12,21,27, and this list is not all inclusive. The reformation of Israel is very important to God and, as we will find out, is very important to end times.

Are we in the end times? The next section will deal with this question, which I believe is the most important question of modern times from a biblical standpoint.

Three Questions

The same three questions were asked of Jesus in each of the books of Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21:5-36. I believe that as the same story is told in 3 different books, what is really being said is that a very important story to God is being told. As 3 is a very important number to God. These questions were asked of Jesus after he and the disciples walked by the temple. When the disciples called his attention to the temple, he responded by saying that the temple would be destroyed completely. The disciples responded by asking Jesus, ─When would the temple be destroyed. What would be the sign of his second coming? And what would be the ‘sign’ of (the starting of) ‘The end of the age’. These are ‘3’ key questions that Jesus answered; the most relevant to our current time is the question, ‘what will be the sign of the beginning of the end’. And then Jesus also told us that the end would come just one generation after the ‘sign’ had occurred, and he gave us this ‘sign’ in the parable of ‘The Fig Tree’. Jesus answered these three key questions by prophesizing what would happen in the future, just ‘three’ days before he was crucified on the cross.

Matthew 24:1

Jesus left the temple and was walking away when his disciples came up to him to call his attention to its buildings. 2“do you see all these things?” he asked. “1 tell you the truth, not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down.” 3As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?”

Here the apostles have asked three questions of Jesus, and he answers all three of the questions. The first question “when wills this happen?” is answered in Luke 21:20.

20″When you see Jerusalem being surrounded by armies, you will know that its desolation is near. 21Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those in the city get out, and those in the country not enter the city. 22For this is the time of punishment in fulfillment of all that has been written. 23How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! There will be great distress in the land and wrath against this people. 24They will fall by the sword and will be taken prisoners to all the nations. Jerusalem will be trampled on by the Gentiles until the time of the Gentiles are fulfilled.

This happened in 70 AD. Jesus then answers the second question “what will be the sign of your coming”.

Luke 21:25

25“There will be signs in the sun moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea. 26Men will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken. 27At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.”

Jesus now continues on to answer the all important question for our current time, “what will be the sign of the end of the age?

Luke21:29

29He told them this parable: “Look at the fig tree and all the trees. 30When they sprout leaves, you can see for yourselves and know that summer is near. 31Even so, when you see these things happening, you know that, ‘The kingdom of God’ is near.

32I tell you the truth, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. 33Heaven and earth will pass away but my words will never pass away.

This is the most important parable of modern times. When you understand the prophesy that is contained in the parable of the ‘Fig Tree’ you will know the actual date that starts the beginning of ‘The End Times’, and how long the end times will last. Just as the key to understanding the ‘The Parable of the Sower’ is understanding that seed means ‘the word’; the key to understanding the ‘Fig Tree’ parable is to understand what the words ‘fig tree’ mean.

In MacArthur’s study bible Luke 13:6, MacArthur says this about the fig tree:

“Fig Tree: Often used as a symbol for Israel.”

If the fig tree is synonyms with Israel. Then when Jesus is talking about “The Signof the “End of the Age” as being when the fig tree twigs get tender and its green leaves come out, he is talking about Israel’s rebirth as a nation as being ‘The Sign’ that the beginning of end times has occurred.

The parable means that the fig tree, after a long winter of appearing lifeless and barren, shows it is alive through its green leaves appearing in the spring time. Just as the Jewish people, after almost 2000 years of not having their own nation (lifeless, barren – perhaps ‘in the grave’), showed that it is alive again (green leaves) by becoming a nation in 1948. I find these two verses in Ezekiel 37:12-13 very reveling:

12Therefore prophesy and say to them: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: O my people, I am going to open your graves and bring you up from them; I will bring you back to the land of Israel. 13Then you, my people, will know that I am the Lord, when I open your graves and bring you up from them.

It is important to note that in Luke 21:20-32, Jesus answers in sequence all three question from the disciples, so there should be little doubt about Jesus’ answer to the third question as being the ‘Fig tree proverb’, and that it is the ‘sign of the end of the age’.

Luke21:29

29He told them this parable: “Look at the fig tree and all the trees. 30When they sprout leaves, you can see for yourselves and know that summer is near

The summer (Tribulation) is indeed near. We are 63 years into this generation of the end times which was started in 1948 (as of 2011), so we have 22 years until He returns (2033), in the second coming, which is after the tribulation is over. Perhaps there is some significance in the fact that it was 63 years from the time that Jesus died on the cross (33AD) until Revelation was reveled to John in 96AD; and that the revelation of Revelation happened 63 years (2011 – and you are reading it) after the end times began (Israel born again).

31Even so, when you see these things happening, you know that the kingdom of God is near.

So the ‘Sign of the beginning of the end’, is the reformation of Israel as a nation in 1948. Jesus gives us the beginning and the end; as he tells us that the end will come in one generation (85 years˃Luke 21:32) after Israel is formed as a nation. Indeed you know that, “The kingdom of God is near.” (I will cover the meaning of ‘85 years’ in the next section)

85 years?

As Jesus has said in Mat 24:34:

34I tell you the truth: this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened.

I would ask you, if the tribulation only takes seven years to complete, – the seals, trumpets, bowls of wrath and Jesus’ second coming, why would He say that it would take a generation to go from the beginning of end time until He returns at the second coming, why wouldn’t it just be a little over seven years ?

This is part of the reason; I think that the end times consist of things happening periodically over 85 years. There are large pieces of time that go by where nothing is seemingly happening, and even the things that are happening that tie into Gods purpose will not be noticed, until He returns at the rapture, then people will know that we are in the end times. The end times are kicked off by Israel’s rebirth in 1948. Then forty years (40 is also a very important number to God) later the seals start opening, one at a time over the next forty years, then the trumpets occur over the next 3 ½ years and then finely after 85 years the second coming happens.

My assumption is that Jesus will return to earth in his second coming in 2033 as it would one generation from 1948 to 2033 (85 years). How I came up with 85 years is this: We are now, as of 2011, 63 years into ‘This’ generation and we have several bible prophesies that have to come true before Jesus returns in His second coming. The war that is in Ezekiel 38-39, the building of the temple, the formulation of the ten nation confederation, the beast overthrowing of three kings in this confederation and the beast taking over control of the confederation, the rapture, and the seven year tribulation. I believe that all these things would take 15-20 years to complete, even if some of these things overlapped; so this would take us to 2031 approximately. So then I thought, is there anything in this time range that would be significant to God; and the answer is yes, the two millennial anniversary of Jesus’ death would be a very significant time – 2033. This is 85 years from the formulation of Israel as a country, and the 85 year time frame would fit very well as a ‘generation’.

Jesus has ruled the earth for two millennia from heaven and will rule on earth for one millennia, for a ‘three’ millennia total.

 Session 2

Seals Overview

At the same time as Jesus answered the three preceding questions, He also talked about the time of the seals and the coming tribulation; all of which he covered in greater detail with John some sixty three years later on the island of Patmos when He gave John the Revelation vision. The following is what Jesus had to say that outlines the end times.

Matthew 24:4

4 Jesus answered: ‘Watch out that no one deceives you. 5For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘1 am the Christ, and will deceive many. 6You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come.

7Nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8A1l these arc the beginning of birth pains.

Verse 7 is the beginning of birth pains, which are the seals ‘one through five’. I believe that these birth pains mirror those of a human pregnancy. During a human pregnancy the first few months a woman doesn’t even know that she is pregnant, and I believe the same will be true of the opening of the first two seals, no one will know that they have been opened. When seal number three was opened (9/11/2001) 2100 people died, which was a tragedy, but nothing when compared to what is to come; it was comparable to the sixth or seventh month of pregnancy just a few bruises from the baby kicking. The woman now truly recognizes that she is pregnant, as the baby is now kicking really hard and it hurts, and this is comparable to the opening of the fourth seal. Even with all the pain the woman is generally truly happy that she is pregnant; which is comparable to seal five. The birth itself is comparable to seal six. And with the birth over with, the woman is again very happy, which is comparable to seal number seven. You will probably not understand these analogies, but after you have read about the seals, I believe these analogies will make sense.

Verse 9 is the beginning of seal number six, the start of tribulation.

9‘Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me 1oAt that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, 11and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. 12Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold. 13But he who stands firm to the end will be saved. 14And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations and then the end will come.

Verse 15 is the beginning of the great tribulation, and the start of the trumpets.

15“So when you see standing in the holy place ‘the abomination that causes desolation,’ spoken of through the prophet Daniel let the reader understand — 16then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. 17Let no one on the roof of his house go down to take anything out of the house. 18Let no one in the field go back to get his cloak. 19How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! 2OPray that your flight will not take place in winter or on the Sabbath. 21For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now and never to be equaled again. 221f those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened. 23At that time if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or, ‘There he is!’ do not believe it. 24For false Christ and false prophets will appear and  perform  great  signs  and  miracles  to  deceive  even  the  elect- if that were possible.25See, I have  told  you so ahead  of  time.

26“So if anyone tells you, ‘There he is, out in the desert, ‘do not go out; or, ‘Here he is, in the inner rooms, ‘do not believe it. 27For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. 28Wherever there is a carcass, there the vultures will gather.

29 “Immediately after the distress of those days” ‘the sun will be darkened and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.’

Verse 30 is the time of the seventh trumpet.

3o “At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the sky, with power and great glory. 31And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.

In verse 32, Jesus then tells us when all these things that he has just talked about will start to happen (Fig Tree parable – Israel reformation in 1948) and how long it will be from the start of end times until He returns at the second coming – one generation.

32 “Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near. 33 Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it is near, right at the door. 34I tell you the truth, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. 35Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.

Verse 36 Jesus is saying that no will know that we are in the end times until the rapture occurs. I believe that we are in the end times, but I do not ‘know’ we are in the end times. And, if later on I know we are in the end times, because of some of the prophesies coming true, I will still not know the exact time of the rapture. (I now  know (2015) that we are in the “End Times”, see my other publications.)

36“No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. 37As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 38For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; 39and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 4oTwo men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. 41Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left.”

From verse 32-41 Jesus is talking about what will be happening at the beginning of the end of the age. This starts with the formulation of Israel in 1948. He talks about spring time and the leaves emerging on a fig tree, and he contrasts that with the people of Noah’s time not knowing that the flood was coming, even though Noah worked on the ark for 100 years before the flood and no doubt talked about Gods warnings of the coming flood. He is saying with his spring time and the birth pains analogies; that the time of the end will start slowly and last awhile (A whole generation for the complete time-85 years). And that the tribulation doesn’t start until the birth pains stop when the birth comes. He is saying that in general the people of our time will not know that they are in the time of the end, until He returns…at the rapture. Every thing will appear to be normal; people will be doing everything they have always done. Which would not be true if His return were the so called second coming… at the end of the great tribulation. The rapture is the fifth seal, and Jesus is saying that the people of our time will not know that the first four seals have been opened. Tribulation does not start until the sixth seal. The following fleshes out these ideas.

 The Fig Tree

Luke 13 – Repent or Perish

1Now there were some present at that time who told Jesus about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mixed with their sacrifices. 2Jesus answered, “Do you think that these Galileans were worse sinners than all the other Galileans because they suffered this way? 3I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish. 4Or those eighteen who died when the tower in Siloam fell on them─do you think they were more guilty than all the others living in Jerusalem? 5I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish.”

In this passage Jesus is telling the whole world the only way to eternal life in heaven is by repenting.

6Then he told this parable: A man had a fig tree, planted in his vineyard, and he went to look for fruit on it, but did not find any. 7So he said to the man who took care of the vineyard, ‘For three years now I’ve been coming to look for fruit on this fig tree and haven’t found any. Cut it down! Why should it use up the soil?’

8” ’Sir,’ the man replied, ‘leave it alone for one more year, and I’ll dig around it and fertilize it. 9If it bears fruit next year, fine! If not, then cut it down.’ ”

This is the first time Jesus has talked about the ‘fig tree’, He talks about ‘The fig tree’ ‘three’ times during His ministry on earth, and in all three times, He is talking about the nation of Israel. Again, it is important to note that when Jesus talks about the fig tree three times, it means that it is extremely important. When Jesus is talking about fruit on the fig tree, He is talking about whether or not the nation of Israel is righteous: no fruit, equates to not righteous and bearing fruit means that the nation is generally righteous.

Here is the meaning of this parable: The first year’ (‘For three years now I’ve been coming to look for fruit on this fig tree and haven’t found any.) God came to find fruit on the fig tree was 702 BC, when He didn’t find any He sent the Assyrians to destroy the 10 tribe nation of Israel. (Israel had already split into two nations: Israel-10 tribes and Judah-2 tribes)

2Kings-Israel Exiled Because of Sin

17:7All this took place because the Israelites had sinned against the Lord their God, Who had brought them up out of Egypt from under the power of   Pharaoh King of Egypt. They worshiped other gods 8and followed the practices of the nations the LORD had driven out before them, as well as the practices that the kings of Israel had introduced. 9The Israelites secretly did things against the LORD their God that were not right. From watchtower to fortified city they built themselves high places in all their towns. 10They set up sacred stones and Asherah poles on every high hill and under every spreading tree. 11At every high place they burned incense, as the nations whom the LORD had driven out before them had done. They did wicked things that provoked the LORD to anger. 12They worshiped idols, though the LORD had said, “You shall not do this.” 13The LORD warned Israel and Judah through all his prophets and seers: “Turn from your evil ways. Observe my commands and decrees in accordance with the entire Law that I commanded your fathers to obey and that I delivered to you through my servants the prophets.”

14But they would not listen and were stiff-necked as their fathers, who did not trust in the LORD their God. 15They rejected his decrees and the covenant he had made with their fathers and the warnings he had given them. They followed worthless idols and themselves became worthless. They imitated the nations around them although the LORD had ordered them, “Do not do as they do,” and they did the things the LORD had forbidden them to do.

And so the Assyrians completely destroyed the 10 tribe nation of Israel. For more information on the Assyrian war of 702 BC and how God delivered Jerusalem, read Isaiah 36 -38:1-8.

The second year’ (‘For three years now I’ve been coming to look for fruit on this fig tree and haven’t found any.) God came to find fruit on the fig tree was 606 BC, and again He did not find any fruit in Judah (the people of Judah had ignored “The Seven year Sabbath” for seventy Sabbaths (490 years), so God decided ton punish the people of Israel for one year of exile to Babylon for every ‘Seven year Sabbath’ they had not celebrated (70 years). So God sent Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon to destroy Judah, so they broke down the walls around Jerusalem and destroyed the temple, and took all of the leaders and people of Israel to Babylon for 70 years of captivity.

‘The third year’ – The book of Ezra tells about the return of the Jews from exile in Babylon after their 70 years. It began in 539 BC with the decree of Cyrus, king of Persia, which allowed all the people to go back to Jerusalem under the leadership of Zerubbabel. However only 20-25 percent of the Jewish people accepted this offer, the rest of the Jewish people had grown comfortable with their surroundings and decided to stay in Babylon and the surrounding area, which was an insult to the offer God had made thru Cyrus. The people of Israel also committed sin by not changing their sinful actions after being deported to Babylon, they continued to ignore the ‘Seven Year Sabbath’ and still committed the many sins that they had participated in, in Jerusalem. (The punishment for these sins was very severe, and the punishment for these sins is laid out in my article ‘The Beginning’.)

The Jewish people that returned from Babylon enthusiastically began rebuilding the temple and resumed sacrifices. But for eighteen years they were delayed by their enemies from the north. Finally in 521 BC a decree from Darius, king of Persia, let them finish. The people completed and dedicated the second temple in 515 BC.

In 458 BC Ezra, the priest, returned to Jerusalem with another group of Babylonian exiles. He taught the people the law (Including Gods Seven year Sabbath) and reformed their religious life so the other nations around them could see they were again God’s chosen nation.

(‘For three years now I’ve been coming to look for fruit on this fig tree and haven’t found any.) God also came to find fruit on the fig tree (Israel) during the time of Jesus:

‘For three years now I’ve been coming to look for fruit on this fig tree and haven’t found any. Cut it down! Why should it use up the soil?’

8” ’Sir,’ the man replied, ‘leave it alone for one more year, and I’ll dig around it and fertilize it. 9If it bears fruit next year, fine! If not, then cut it down.’

The ‘man’ in verse 8 was Jesus himself, and He was the ‘fertilizer’, and because of the actions of Jesus (How he lived His life, the miracles He performed, healing the sick, raising the dead, His teachings, etc.), the fig tree should have produced a bumper crop of fruit. He was the perfect spiritual ‘fertilizer’, and Israel should have turned to Him overnight as their leader and recognized Him as the long awaited messiah.

The second time Jesus talks about a fig tree, occurred as Jesus was entering Jerusalem for the last time, as He would be crucified on the cross just three days later.

 The Fig Tree Withers

Matthew 21:18

18Early in the morning as he was on his way back to the city, he was hungry. 19Seeing a fig tree by the road, he went up to it but found nothing on it except leaves. Then he said to it, “May you never bear fruit again!” Immediately the tree withered.

20When the disciples saw this, they were amazed.

This was a physical act with the fig tree, but it represents what would happen to the Jewish nation of Israel, which Jesus talks about just a short time later.

Matthew 24

1Jesus left the temple and was walking away when his disciples came up to him to call his attention to its buildings. 2”Do you see all these things?” he asked. “I tell you the truth, not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down.”

As Jesus said, not only was the second temple destroyed but the nation of Israel (Judah) also (70AD). We’ve already talked about the third time the fig tree was talked about by Jesus; Israel was reestablished as a nation, and the end times started. So Jesus talked about the fig tree three times, the first time represents the past. God had looked at Israel twice in the past and took action against the Jewish nation because of their many sins. During the time of Jesus the Jewish nation was again deeply involved in sin against God. This is the third time God had looked at the Jewish nation and He withholds His wrath against the Jewish nation until Jesus finishes His ministry on earth. The second time Jesus talked about the fig tree, He was on His way to Jerusalem for the last time, and He destroyed the fig tree which displayed what would happen to Israel (70AD). The third and last time He talked about the fig tree is to indicate that with the rebirth of Israel, the end times would start, and that ‘this’ generation would not only see the rebirth of Israel, but they will also see the prophesies of Revelation come true and the second coming of Christ.

Why was the Nation of Israel reestablished in 1948?

Have you ever asked yourself ‘Why did God choose 1948 as the year for returning the Jews to Israel and reestablishing their nation?’. First and foremost God did choose 1948 as the year to reestablish Israel as a nation as the following will show.

Ezekiel 4:4

“Then lie on your left side and put the sin of the house of Israel upon yourself.” You are to bear their sin for the number of days you lie on your side. 5I have assigned you the same number of days as the years of their sin. So for 390 days you will bear the sin of the house of Israel.

6 “After you have finished this, lie down again, this time on your right side, and bear the sin of the house of Judah. I have assigned you 40 days, a day for each year. 7Turn your face toward the siege of Jerusalem and with bared arm prophesy against her. 8I will tie you up with ropes so that you cannot turn from one side to the other until you have finished the days of your siege.

So Ezekiel was to be bound by ropes for 430 days, a day for each year that the whole of Israel was in sin. And soon after this, Judah and the people therein were taken captive. The rulers and many of the people were taken in captivity to Babylon and the Temple was destroyed. They remained in captivity in Babylon for 70 years.

The 70 years of captivity counted for 70days towards the 430 days that they owed for the sin they had committed, leaving 360 days, with each day representing a year.

Because God had visited Israel 3 times, and each time He had punished them for their sin, after the third time He had visited Israel and they still didn’t accept His correction, He decided to apply Leviticus 26:23

Leviticus 26:23

“ ‘If in spite of these things you do not accept my correction but continue to be hostile toward me, 24I myself will be hostile toward you and will afflict you for your sins seven times over. 25And I will bring the sword upon you to avenge the breaking of the covenant, I will send a plague among you, and you will be given into enemy hands.”

……………………………………………………..

Thus the Jewish year of 360 days were multiplied by 7 resulting in 2520 years that God would punish them and not be with them. The beginning of this punishment would start in the spring of the year 536 BC, which was the year the first group of Israelites returned from Babylon.

The 2520 years were in Jewish years of 360 days for each year, which if converted to the present calendar days of 365 days, plus leap days, comes to 2484 – 536BC = 1948. (The math for this is spelled out in “The Beginning” on page 47.)

…………………………………………………

So God chose 1948 as the year that His hostility would be concluded with the Jewish Nation, and then He brought them back as a nation, and He will be their protector until the end of days. And 1948 is the date that starts the ‘End Times’, all planed and executed by God.

Just as Israel started with Abraham, I believe the second starting of Israel in 1948 is a memoriam to Abraham, as the year 1948 is a year that is directly tied to Abraham in various ways.

Let’s start off by quoting from the first three paragraphs of the virtual site of ‘www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org’.

“According to Jewish tradition, Abraham was born under the name Abram in the city of Ur in Babylonia in the year 1948 from Creation (circa 1800 BCE). He was the son of Terach, an idol merchant, but from his early childhood, he came to believe that the entire universe was the work of a single Creator, and he began to teach this belief to others.

Abram tried to convince his father, Terach, of the folly of idol worship. One day, when Abram was left alone to mind the store, he took a hammer and smashed all the idols except the largest one. He placed the hammer in the hand of the largest idol. When his father returned and asked what happened, Abram said, “The idols got into a fight, and the big one smashed all the other ones.” His father said, “Don’t be ridiculous. These idols have no life or power. They can’t do anything.” Abram replied, “Then why do you worship them?”

Eventually, the one true Creator that Abram had worshipped called to him, and made him an offer: if Abram would leave his home and his family then God would make him a great nation and bless him. Abram accepted this offer, and the covenant between God and the Jewish people was established. (Gen. 12).

In reading Acts 7:2-4 it is apparent to me that God appeared to Abram at least twice, once in Ur and again in Haran when his father died.

Stephen’s Speech to the Sanhedrin

Acts 7:2-4 2To this he replied: “Brothers and fathers, listen to me! The God of glory appeared to our father Abraham while he was still in Mesopotamia, before he lived in Haran. 3 ‘Leave your country and your people,’ God said, ‘and go to the land I will show you.’

4So he left the land of the Chaldeans and settled in Haran. After the death of his father, God sent him to this land where you are now living.

I believe it is generally accepted that Abraham lived 1992-1817 B.C. according to bible chronology. This would mean that when Abraham turned 44, while still living in Ur the year 1948 B.C. occurred. While there is nothing in the bible to confirm this, I believe that this date, 1948 B.C. is the date that God first approached Abraham and made His covenant with him. This is the type of symmetry with numbers that God uses throughout the bible. If indeed it was 1948 B.C., it would be one thousand nine hundred forty eight years from the date God first made His covenant with Abraham until Christ was born, and then a new covenant of grace was established with His death on the cross. And from the birth of Christ to the reestablishment of the Jewish nation of Israel was also one thousand nine hundred and forty eight years. We therefore have 3 uses of 1948!

So let’s move on to talking about the seals.

Session 3

Seal #1

Rev 6:1 I watched as the Lamb opened the first of the seven seals. Then I heard one of the four living creatures say in a voice like thunder, “Come!” 2I looked, and there before me was a white horse! Its rider held a bow, and he was given a crown, and he rode out as a conqueror bent on conquest.

I believe that the first seal is the false prophet being born. If this is the birth of the false prophet, then the seals are opened over a long period of time. I believe that it will take forty years to open all the seals, and the time of the first seal opening was 1989. That would make it about 40 years from Israel’s formulation in 1948, and 40 years to the completion of the 7th seal.

Revelation 13:11 Then I saw another beast coming out of the earth. He had two horns like a lamb, but he spoke like a dragon.

The beast, or false prophet, is referred to as a lamb, which is the same reference as Jesus, but his speech indicates that his religion is far from that of Jesus. The false prophet is riding a white horse which indicates that he is a religious individual, as Jesus also rides a white horse, but the false prophet will not speak of love and forgiveness. He will speak as the world does, of intolerance and hate. As in carrying a bow with no arrows, the false prophet will speak as a religious authority, but his message will be false.

Rev 6:1 ‘He was given a crown’, I believe that, as Ahmodinejad has said, the beast out of the earth, or false prophet, will be recognized as the 12th Imam or Mahdi in the Islamic community. And he will be a leader, hence the reference of wearing a crown, of the prostitute nations of the Islamic community. And I believe that he will become known to the world in 2019 in his 30th year, just as Jesus started his ministry in his 30th year. (Rev 17:15 “The waters you saw, where the prostitute sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations and languages.” These are the prostitute Islamic nations to which he is referencing) His religious center will be Babylon, and it will be to the Islamic nations as Jerusalem is to the Jewish nation. They will pour their money into making Babylon the greatest city in the world.

As Rev 13:13 reads, ‘And he performed great and miraculous signs, even causing fire to come down from heaven to earth in full view of men. 14Because of the signs he was given power to do on behalf of the first beast, he deceived the inhabitants of the earth. He ordered them to set up an image in honor of the beast who was wounded by the sword and yet lived. 15He was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that it could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed. l6He also forced everyone, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on his right hand or on his forehead, 17so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark which is the name of the beast or the number of his name’

As you have read the false prophet will be a very powerful man with mystical powers from Satan and his mission is to have the beast recognized as God by all. The false prophet will formally recognize the beast, during the last half of tribulation, as God. And just as we have the Father, Son and Holy Ghost; they will have the beast, the false prophet and Satan.

 Seal #2

Rev 6:3 When the Lamb opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, “Come!” 4Then another horse came out, a fiery red one. Its rider was given power to take peace from the earth and to make men slay each other. To him was given a large sword.

This, I believe, announces the birth of the beast, or false God. These first two seals announce the births of the two most important men of Revelation, much as the bible announced the birth of John and then 6 months later Jesus, I believe that these two births will mock John and Jesus births and also be 6 months apart with the second seal being opened in 1990. And the false prophet and the false God may well be related; they will certainly be closely linked throughout the tribulation. The beast and the false prophet will certainly play a huge part in the end times.

In Matthew 24:7, Jesus says Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8All these are the beginnings of birth pains.

Just as the next two seals are about war and the fifth seal about salvation, all of these seals, one through five, are part of the birth pains and are increasing in violence as they progress.

Seal #3

Rev 6:5 When the Lamb opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, “Come!” I looked, and there was a black horse! Its rider was holding a pair of scales in his hand. 6Then I heard a voice among the four living creatures, saying, “A quart of wheat for a day wages, and three quarts of barley for a day’s wages, and do not damage the oil and the wine!”

The third seal is a black horse whose rider is holding a pair of scales, a black horse denotes death, and a pair of scales typically denotes justice. The attack on America on 9/11/2001, in which the twin towers in New York were attacked, was accomplished by Islamic terrorist. America was seeking justice when it attacked Afghanistan. America typically has a blindfolded statue holding the scales up signifying justice, and therefore the rider on the black horse was President George Bush of America.

A quart of wheat and three quarts of barley could be setting up a contrast between the relative oil rich nations of the Arabs and the rich wine producing America, with the poor third world nations like Africa, where a day’s wages would barely buy you a meal. And the African nations have certainly been in the news a lot for their starving people in the 2002 time frame. So this would define the times.

The reference to the statement, “do not damage the oil and the wine!” could be, do not damage the oil fields in the ensuing wars with the Iraq and Afghanistan, as Iraq did in Desert Storm, and no more terrorist attacks on the wine producing America, until after the fourth seal.

The black horse denotes death, but not in just a physical way, it also is a death to innocence. America and the world were shocked on September 11 2001 by the terrorist attack on that day, which will stand forever as a day that pure evil was demonstrated. It was so graphic, images that the whole world could see of the terrorist attack, and how differently that attack was viewed in the Arab world, as compared to the world in general. God demonstrated on that day the difference between good and evil, and the future will become even more evil in the time of the tribulation and trumpets. The third seal was just the beginning. The events of the third seal started the war between Islam and Christianity or good and evil, and the war will wax and wane for 27 years ending in 2029, when evil wins the war and evil will rule the entire world for the next 3 1/2 years until Jesus returns in 2033. In the last seven years of this war (2023 – 2029) the rapture will occur and the beast will takeover leadership of the 10 nation confederation and then the entire world in 2029.

Revelation Chapters 12 and 13:1

Chapters 12 and 13 are very important chapters in understanding what is going on in the seals four and six. These two chapters are laid out, for the most part, in chronological order. I say that chapter 12 is in chronological order because of the words then and, and which are used primarily during this chapter.

Rev 12:1 A great and wondrous sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head. 2She was pregnant and cried out in pain as she was about to give birth. 3Then another sign appeared in heaven an enormous red dragon with seven heads and ten horns and seven crowns on his heads. 4His tail swept a third of the stars out of the sky and flung them to the earth. The dragon stood in front of the woman who was about to give birth, so that he might devour her child the moment it was born.

Just before Jesus’ was born.(verse 2), John uses the word ‘Then’ (in verse 3) to indicate that before He was born the sign of Satan, Israel’s mortal enemy, would appear in the sky, and then (verse 4) after Jesus was born, Satan tries to kill Him.

5She gave birth to a son, a male child, who will rule all the nations with an iron scepter. And her child was snatched up to God and to his throne.

In verse 5 John writes about the birth of Jesus and his ascension.

6The woman fled into the desert to a place prepared for her by God, where she might be taken care of for 1,260 days.

In verse 6 John writes about a future time when the woman flees into the desert, and also uses verse 6 to tie the time together with verse 14. I believe God has done this because verse 6 and verse 14 are extremely important, Israel’s birth as a nation, and are the Fig Tree proverb, the start of end times. Verse 6 ends this time line.

7And there was war in heaven. Michael and his angles fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angles fought back. 8But he was not strong enough, and they lost their place in heaven. 9The great dragon was hurled down – that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth and his angles with him.

4His tail swept a third of the stars out of the sky and flung them to the earth.

John starts verse 7 out with the word ‘And’ which means that the comments tie into the previous verse 4, which is indicating that these two verses are describing the same event. Which is Michael and Satan having a war in heaven which Satan and his angels loose and as a result of loosing they are kicked out of heaven and will no longer have any access to God; Satan and his angels have been banished to earth. Time wise I believe this happens during Jesus’ life on earth.

10Then I heard a load voice in heaven say:

“Now have come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ. For the accuser of our brothers, who accuses them before our God day and night, has been hurled down. 11They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death. 12Therefore rejoice, you heavens an you who dwell in them! But woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has gone down to you! He is filled with fury because he knows that his time is short.

Verse 10 again starts off with ‘Then’ which means it happened after the devil was hurled to earth during preceding verse. Then John writes about hearing a loud voice in heaven which starts off the narrative with the word “Now”; I believe this is saying, at the current time, which would have been 96 AD at the time of John’s vision, and that Satan has already been hurled to earth, with his angles. In verse 11, John writes about the apostles overcoming the devil by the blood of the Lamb and their own testimony. In verse 12 John writes that the voice from heaven that says “the devil has gone down to you!” and “he knows that his time is short.”. The devil was cast out of heaven, I believe, at some point during Jesus’ life time on earth. Jesus even talks about it in Luke 10:18 “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.”. So if it was in Jesus’ lifetime, the devil has been on the earth for almost 2000 years, which does not sound like a short time, but in Gods time frame it is a short time. Thinking of how the world is now, Satan has done a good job of making the world more evil at an ever increasing pace and will continue making it more and more evil in the future.

13When the dragon saw that he had been hurled to the earth, he perused the woman who had given birth to the male child.

In verse 13 John writes about the devil, after being tossed out of heaven, pursues Israel from that time until the present time. And he almost completed his ambition of wiping out the Jews in WW2, but God turned the holocaust into the Jews getting their nation back.

14The woman was given the two wings of a great eagle, so that she might fly to the place prepared for her in the desert, where she would be taken care of for a time, times and half a time, out of the serpent’s reach. 15Then from his mouth the spewed water like a river, to overtake the woman and sweep her away with the torrent. 16But the earth helped the woman by opening its mouth and swallowing the river that the dragon had spewed out of his mouth.

In verse 14 John again writes about the woman going to a place in the desert; which is the same time as verse 6. This is referring to the rebirth of Israel in 1948. The ‘time, times and half a time’ is referring to the first 3 ½ years of tribulation during which Israel will be immune to the beasts taking over the entire world, which is a result of his 7 year peace agreement with Israel. And he nullifies this peace agreement at the mid point of tribulation. (These two verses, the experts say, are related to Gods protection of Israel during the great tribulation; which I do not agree with, and I will explain why in the next section.) Verse 15 John again starts out with the word ‘Then’ which means this time frame happens after the dragon started pursuing the Jews, and after Israel’s rebirth.

Verse 15 and verse 16 concerns the war that is contained in Ezekiel chapters 38 and 39 and happens in our future (I will cover this in greater detail later). I believe verse 14 reflects the Jewish nation being reborn which began in 1948 and started the end times. Verse 14 is the end of the past for us, and it brings us up to the present time. Verse 15 and the rest of the verses in chapter 12 and all of chapter 13 is a future time for all of us currently in the generation of end times.

17Then the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to make war against the rest of her offspring – those who obey God’s commandments and hold to the testimony of Jesus.

The word ‘Then’ is again used to start off verse 17 which means that after the war in Ezekiel chapter 38 and 39; the devil will make war with the Christians.

13:1And the dragon stood on the shore of the sea. And I saw a beast coming out of the sea. He had ten horns and seven heads, with ten crowns on his horns, and on each head a blasphemous name.

And in verse 13:1 John starts off with the word ‘And’ which means at the time Satan makes war with the Christians, or shortly after, he will cause the ten nation confederation to be born. And then continues on to the tribulation. My logic indicates that all of chapter 12 happens before chapter 13. Rev 12:1-6 describes what is happening with Israel; its birth, Israel’s mortal enemy Satan, the birth and ascension of Jesus, and in verse six, the reestablishment of Israel in 1948, as a nation, and her protection during the first half of tribulation. From verse 12:7 thru chapter 13 all verses happen in chronological order. The prophesy that is contained in these chapters is told in order to win even more saints to Christ; for prophesy is even more effective when told in order – This will happen, then this will happen, then this will happen etc.

Now let’s go back to:

6The woman fled into the desert to a place prepared for her by God, where she might be taken care of for 1,260 days.

In MacArthur’s study bible, I quote his passage about verse 6:

“God will protect Israel from Satan by hiding her in the wilderness, perhaps in the region of Moab, Ammon and Edom, east of Palestine.”

MacArthur thinks that this passage is indicating that God will protect Israel during the second half of tribulation by giving her a safe area to which she can flee; and I believe this passage is saying that Israel was reformed in 1948 and that this is the place in the desert, that was prepared by God, where she will be safe for the first half of tribulation. I strongly think that all the verses from Rev 12:6 thru chapter 13 are in chronological order and if they are, verse 6 can not have any connection with the second half of tribulation. Chapter 13 of Rev starts off with the formulation of the 10 countries that will become the 10 nation confederation that the beast will take over and this happens before tribulation even starts. There are more reasons that this verse can not refer to the second half of tribulation which I will cover later in this article.

Rev 12:7-14 tells what is happening with Satan, and happens during the same time as verses Rev 12:1-6 (which tells what is happening with Israel). Verses Rev 12:7-9 tells of the war between Michel and his angels and Satan and his angles. And because Christ came to earth and instituted grace; Satan became irrelevant in heaven because the sins the saints committed, which Satan was complaining to God about, once confessed will be forgiven because of grace. Therefore because Satan became irrelevant, he and his angles were cast out of heaven; Jesus even testifies to this himself in Luke 10:18 “1 saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.” In verses Rev 12:10-12 indicates how we can overcome Satan on the earth; which is by the blood of the Lamb and the testimony of the apostles. All the preceding verses, which John wrote about, had already happened; the following verses (from Rev 12:13 on) describe the present (for John) and future things that will happen. Rev 12:13 “When the dragon saw that he had been hurled to the earth, he pursued the woman who had given birth to the male child.” The Jews have been persecuted from that time (Luke 10:18) up to the present time.

Rev 12:14 seems to refer to 1948, “The woman was given two wings of a great eagle so that she might fly to the place prepared for her in the desert’ where she would be taken care of for a time, times and half a time, out of the serpent’s reach.” Most of the experts in theology believe that this verse refers to the second half of tribulation and Israel being led to the desert in safety by God. If this prophesies were about the second half of tribulation, I believe it would have been in chapter 13.

I think that this verse is saying, after the war with Germany, the United States and England engineered the formulation of Israel and return of the Jews to it in 1948, where she (Jews) would be safe in the desert (the new Israel) during the first 3 ½ years of the tribulation. This is contrasted by how the Jewish people were treated during World War 2 in the holocaust, when they did not have their own nation. (The two wings of a great eagle, has a double meaning, one is, according to Macarthur’s study bible, a graphic depiction of God’s providential protection of Israel. The other is the eagle is the national symbol of America. If these two are put together; America and England [two wings] are protecting Israel by engineering the return of the Jews to their own county; which will lead to her safety during the first 3¼ years of tribulation.) This verse brings us up to the current time in history (written in 2008). The rest of these chronological verses are in our immediate future.

I also note that there will be no place of safety during all of the great tribulation, Revelations 13:9-10 make this very plain:

9He who has an ear, let him hear.

10If anyone is to go into captivity, into captivity he will go.

If anyone is to be killed with the sword, with the sword he will be killed

This calls for patient endurance and faithfulness on the part of the saints.

As I will explain later, there will be no Christians left on earth at the beginning of the great tribulation and therefore, there will be no need for a safe place to flee to. As people turn to Christianity during the great tribulation, they will have to demonstrate their endurance and faith, which they couldn’t do if they could flee to a safe place.

Rev 12:15-16 “Then from his mouth the serpent spewed water like a river, to overtake the woman and sweep her away with the torrent I6But the earth helped the woman by opening its mouth and swallowing the river that the dragon had spewed out of his mouth

Macarthur study bible interprets these verses as meaning that:

‘A great army will come against Israel like a flood, only to be swallowed up, perhaps in conjunction with one of the numerous earthquakes that occur during that period.’

I point out that Macarthur thinks that this is a great army that has not yet come against Israel, and that it will be swallowed up by the earth. I agree with these statements, and believe that this is the army which is in Ezekiel chapter 38 & 39. In these chapters it tells of Russia, Iran and many other nations forming a coalition to attack Israel, and God’s response to this coalition.

Ezekiel 38:14-23 “Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say to Gog: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: In that day, when my people Israel are living in safety will you not take notice of it? 15You will come from your place in the far north, you and many nations with you, all of them riding on horses, a great horde, a mighty army. 16You will advance against my people Israel like a cloud that covers the land. In days to come, 0 Gog, I will bring you against my land, so that the nations may know me when I show myself holy through you before their eyes.”

17 ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Are you not the one I spoke of in former days by my servants the prophets of Israel? At that time they prophesied for years that I would bring you against them. 18This is what will happen in that day: When Gog attacks the land of Israel, my hot anger will be aroused, declares the Sovereign Lord. 191n my zeal and fiery wrath I declare that at that time there shall be a great earthquake in the land of Israel. 20The fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the beasts of the field, every creature that moves along the ground, and all the people on the face of the earth will tremble at my presence. The mountains will be overturned, the cliffs will crumble and every wall will fall to the ground. 211 will summon a sword against Gog on all my mountains, declares the Sovereign Lord. Every man‘s sword will be against his brother. 221 will execute judgment upon him with plague and bloodshed; I will poor down torrents of rain, hailstones and burning sulfur on him and on his troops and on the many nations with him. 23And so I will show my greatness and my holiness and I will make myself known in the sight of many nations. Then they will know that I am the Lord’.

‘Gog’ (Putin) is the leader of Russia, and I think that ‘Gog’ is the seventh King, talked about in Rev 17:10:

“They are also seven kings, five have fallen, one is, the other has not yet come: but when he does come, he must remain for a little while.”

The modem names for the countries that Ezekiel is talking about are Russia, Iran, Sudan, Ethiopia, Libya, Algeria, Tunisia, Turkey, Armenia, Syria, and Lebanon. (These countries names were taken from ‘Epicenter’ by Joel Rosenberg, page l22) In the history of Russia and Iran, there has never been an alliance of these two nations until now. I also think that the earthquake referred to in Ezekiel 38:19 will be so large that it will destroy the Mosque that is now in Jerusalem. And I believe the third temple will then be built.

Rev 12:17 ‘Then the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to make war against the rest of her offspring those who obey God’s commandments and hold to the testimony of Jesus.’

At this point the dragon (Devil) realizes that God is not going to let him, the devil, destroy Israel (the woman), so he goes after the Christians. Which will mean more terrorists attacks in the United States after the fourth seal is opened.

In Matthew 24:7, Jesus says Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8All these are the beginnings of birth pains.

9Then you will be persecuted and put to death and you will be hated by all nations because of me.

I believe that Jesus is saying that before tribulation starts there will be wars, famines and earthquakes and these are part of the birth pains. And birth pains are part of the seals; in fact the first five seals are all part of the birth pains. It is with the sixth seal that tribulation starts and by then we (Christians) will be hated by all nations and be persecuted and killed. I believe that this hate will start after the fourth seal is opened and will intensify over the years, perhaps even nuclear attacks will occur.

Rev 13:1 And the dragon stood on the shore of the sea. And I saw a beast coming out of the sea. He had ten horns and seven heads, with ten crowns on his horns, and on each head a blasphemous name.

This is announcing the formulation of the ten nation confederation. The seven heads is a reference to the seven different empires that have ruled the earth, and the ten horns is the ten nation confederation. The first ‘And’ of Rev 13:1 is very important because it means that the following statement will be happening at the same time as the preceding statement. This means that the war in Ezekiel’s chapter 38 and 39 will be followed very closely by the formulation of the 10 nation confederation. Seal #4 will be opened first and the ‘Death’ part of seal #4 will occur, then the formulation of the 10 Nation Confederation (‘Hades’ part of seal #4) will happen. When this occurs, I believe, it will be at some point during the next several years.

 Seal #4

Rev 6:7 When the Lamb opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say, “Come!” 81 looked, and there before me was a pale horse! Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following close behind him. They were given power over a fourth of the earth to kill by sword, famine and plague, and by the wild beasts of the earth.

Just as we noticed in Rev 12:15-16 that Ezekiel’s war will be followed closely by the formulation of the 10 nation confederation in Rev 13:1, we also notice that there are two things, Death and Hades that are happening close together. Death is alone on the horse but Hades is following, time wise, close behind. Between them they control 25% of the earth and they kill by ‘sword, famine and plague, and by wild beasts ‘, just as stated in the war of Ezekiel.

I believe that ‘Death’ is a very good word to describe the ‘war’ of Ezekiel’s prophesies, and that ‘Hades’ is also a good word to describe the ‘hell’ that the 10 nation confederation will become. The army that Ezekiel talks about is many millions of men, and all are lost on the mountains of Israel. The nations that are going to attack Israel have armies that total over 8 million men. The highest amount of men that were killed in a single battle was 1.1 million in the battle of Stalingrad in WW2 that occurred from September 1942 – January 31, 1943. I believe this battle will top that one. There are so many dead (4 million or more) that it will take Israel seven months to bury all the dead… I think this is why the rider is called ‘Death’, and ‘Hades’ is the 10 nation confederation following, time wise, close behind. There will be billions of people that join this 10 nation federation, and accept the mark of the beast. Quite simply put if you join the first collation, you are subject to ‘Death’, and if you join the second collation, the 10 nation federation, and/or accept the mark of the beast, you will face spiritual ‘Death’ and your soul will wind up in ‘Hades’. At the great white throne judgment your soul will be thrown into the lake of fire.

Rev 20:13-14 “The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what they had done. Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death.”

Ezekiel 39:6 reads that God will send fire on Russia, “I will send fire on Magog and on those who live in safety in the coastlands and they will know that I am the Lord”

We don’t know what form the fire will take, it could be from space, from volcanoes or nuclear missiles. If it is nuclear missiles, I could see a 10 nation confederation being formed as a defensive posture.

In Matthew 24:7, Jesus says Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8All these are the beginnings of birth pains.

9Then you will be persecuted and put to death and you will be hated by all nations because of me.

Rev 12:17 Then the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to make war against the rest of her offspring —  those who obey God’s commandments and hold to the testimony of Jesus.

I believe what will happen is, after this large army of the Russians and Islamic nations is destroyed by God, the radical Islamic faction will somehow blame the United States for their destruction and will retaliate with the destruction of New York city with nuclear weapons. This will result in Millions of casualties in the United States, and then the United States will respond with a large scale nuclear attack primarily on Russia and Iran; which will also result in millions of casualties. All told I believe that about 100 million people could die as a result of the war in Ezekiel chapter 38 &39. As a result of this nuclear exchange, a part of the world will be uninhabitable due to the nuclear fallout and the fallout will affect the entire world. I believe the after math of the nuclear attacks will be blamed on the United States and will start the hate of the entire world towards Christians. The 100 million dead will certainly earn the Death part of Seal #4. After this nuclear war, the nations in Europe will again fear the United States and will form the ten nation confederation of the end times.

The earth quake that will destroy the Mosque in Jerusalem and the destruction of the large army opposing Israel will clear the way for the construction of the third Temple in Jerusalem.

As a result of God’s intervention and destruction of the huge collation sent against Israel, the ten nation confederation could then sign an agreement with Israel to allow them to rebuild the ‘Temple’ and restart sacrifices. Later the “beast’ takes control of this confederation and confirms the seven year peace agreement with Israel to allow them to restart sacrifices, and the tribulation starts.

The third seal introduced the concept of good and evil, the fourth seal introduces God into the equation. This is the second time (Israel’s Birth and protection) in almost two thousand years that God has taken a direct part in the world’s destiny. To some people, the fourth seal will be a very strange way that this very large army meets its end on the mountains of Israel. But many people will realize, for the first time, that there is a God, and that this is the only explanation for what happened to this army. They will be profoundly impacted by this event, and will turn to God in record numbers.

This event (Rev 12:15-16 “Then from his mouth the serpent spewed water like a river, to overtake the woman and sweep her away with the torrent. 16But the earth helped the woman by opening its mouth and swallowing the river that the dragon had spewed out of his mouth”) is the only thing that the bible talks about as happening between now (2008) and the formulation of the 10 nation confederation and then the tribulation. It is a very important event (The war of chapters 38-39 in Ezekiel), as it prompts many, many people to turn towards, and accept God. So it is fitting that it is part of the fourth seal.

Timing of the Fourth Seal

If the first three seals are open, when is the fourth seal opened? I think that the best answer for this is indirectly in Daniel 8:8-14, 26

“The goat became very great, but at the height of his power his large horn was broken off and in its place four prominent horns grew up toward the four winds of heaven. 9Out of one of them came another horn, which started small but grew in power to the south and to the east and toward the beautiful land..14He said to me, “It will take 2,300 evenings and mornings; then the sanctuary will be reconsecrated… . . 26The vision of evenings and mornings that has been given you is true, but seal up the vision for it concerns the distant future.”

In Macarthur study bible the 2300 evenings and mornings are said to be days and is said to be ‘Antiochus’ persecution, which ran from Sept. 6 171B.C. to Dec. 25 l65B.C. After his death Jews celebrated the cleansing of their holy place in the Feast of Lights, or Hanukkah, in celebration of the restoration led by Judas Maccabeus.

Let’s take a look at what MacArthur had to say in his study bible about Daniel 8:17 and 8:23-25.

8:17 Frightened and fell. time of the end.” This time likely has a double sense of fulfillment. First the “end” (as v. 19), “final” or “latter period” (vv. 19-23), and “appointed time” (v. 19) refer to time later in the specific span that the historical prophesy has in view. That time is the period defined by the empires in these verses, Persia (Ram) and Greece (Goat), when the Grecian sector will be divided into 4 parts (v. 8). One of these, the Syrian under Seleucus (see note on v. 22) will eventually lead to Antiochus Epiphanes (175-164 B.C.) as the “little horn” meant in v. 9, who persecutes the people of Israel (v. 10) and defies God (v. 11). Secondly, this “little horn” in v. 9 the Antichrist in the last days at the time of the eschatological fulfillment, sees Antiochus as a pattern of the Antichrist, who in many ways will be like him, though far greater in power, and will exercise his career in the end of the age just before Christ’s return.

8:23-25 A king will arise. The near fulfillment views Antiochus as the historical persecutor as in vv. 9-14. His career down to 164 B.C. was “in the latter period of their rule,” that of the male goat in the Syrian territory. Rome conquered Greece by 146 B.C., only a few years later, and became the next dominant empire. Antiochus died, “broken without human agency,” due to insanity and disease of the bowls. The far fulfillment sees Antiochus in vv. 23-25 as prophetically illustrating the final tribulation period and the Antichrist. In such a view, the king here is also the “little horn,” as in 7:7; 8:9 and the willful king in 11:36-45.

Clearly MacArthur thinks these passages have a double meaning, and that the second meaning has to do with the time of the end. I also think these passages have a double meaning, because in the explanation of the vision, Gabriel says in Daniel 8:17:

“Son of man understand that the vision pertains to the time of the end.”

Often when the bible is speaking of a day, it means a year. If it means a ‘year’, then the 2300 years could be added to the date the individual of the fourth horn dies (Daniel 8:9 Out of one of them came another horn) This could be the year that Satan takes over the body of the beast (2019). The individuals that were the four horns, and that arose after Alexander the great died were Ptolemy, Cassandar, Lysimachus, and Seleucus. The last two, Lysimachus and Seleucus, died the same year 281BC. If we add 2300 years to 281BC we get 2019AD. And therefore 2019 could be the year the third temple is consecrated. (Daniel 8:14 It will take 2300 evenings and mornings: then the sanctuary will be reconsecrated). If we allow building time for the temple and time for Ezekiel’s war in chapter 38-39, we come back to around 2016-7. Thus we have a date for the fourth seal being opened which is 2-3 years from the third temple being consecrated.

The 10 Nation Confederation

Rev 13:1 …And I saw a beast coming out of the sea. He had ten horns and seven heads, with ten crowns on his horns, and on each head a blasphemous name.

I believe that soon after the nuclear action has taken place, the 10 nation confederation will be born, around 2016-2019. I believe that this confederation will step in and prevent any further war action from occurring by threatening further nuclear action by the confederation against the United States or Russia or the Islamic community; which will prevent World War III from occurring. They will also not prevent Israel from building the third Temple.

The Beast

Rev 13:2 The beast I saw resembled a leopard, but had feet like that of a bear and a mouth like that of a lion. The dragon gave the beast his power and his throne and his great authority. 3One of the heads of the beast seemed to have had a fatal wound, but the fatal wound had been healed.

Daniel 9:26 …The people of the ruler who will come will destroy the city and the sanctuary.

Rev 17:11 The beast who once was, and now is not, is an eighth king. He belongs to the seven and is going to his destruction.

The explanation of Daniel 9:26 is this: The Romans destroyed the city and sanctuary in 70 AD, so the ruler to come will have to have a Roman heritage, but Rev 17:11 indicates that he will not be from Rome, but from the area of a previous beast; as the “now” refers to the then present time of 96 AD, when the Romans were still in control. Rev 13:2 tells us that the beast resembles a leopard, as the leopard is associated in the bible with Greece; I believe the beast will be from Greece and have a lot of pride, will speak very boastfully and like the lion be able to back up what he says. His speech is skillful and mesmerizing to the huge audiences that listen to him, no one in history has been able to completely capture and convince people that their ideas are right, like the beast can. The feet of a bear is a reference to Persia; the second beast or false prophet will come from Persia, and Satan controls both of them. They will work as if they were one individual, for their thoughts come from the same source. However, I don’t believe the second beast will formally recognize the first beast as God until the great tribulation, which comes from reading Rev 13.

I believe that the beast will suffer a fatal head wound during the time he is taking over the ten nation confederation, and Satan will restore him to life and Satan will then give the beast   his powers. He will gain control over the ten nation confederation, after defeating 3 of the kings, sign the peace agreement with Israel and then the 7 year tribulation will begin. During the next 3 ½ years there will be continuous war, and all the nations of the world will fall under the beast’s control.

Seven Signs Drive Christian Resurgence

I believe a Christian resurgence will start in 2017. As we get closer and closer to the rapture God will use the following seven signs to drive a large Christian resurgence.

The first sign – (Russia attacks Egypt) This information comes from Daniel 11:36-43.

36And the king shall do as he wills. He shall exalt himself and magnify himself above every God, and shall speak astonishing things against the God of gods. He shall prosper till the indignation is accomplished; for what is decreed shall be done.

The king that they are talking about in verse 36 is the seventh king of revelation or the king of Russia his name is ‘Putin’ and he is the leader of Russia and king of the north. Revelation 17:10 tells about him.

17:10 They are also seven kings, five have fallen, one is (the Roman king), the other has not yet come, but when he does come, he must remain for a little while. 11The beast who once was, and now is not, is an eighth king.

This verse fits perfectly with Putin being the seventh king, as he will lead a very large army of Russians and Islamic coalition forces (RIC) that apparently will take over Egypt before it goes on to set up for an attack on Israel and will camp between the glorious mountains and the Dead Sea, just as it says in Daniel 11:45 and also in Ezekiel 38-39. And as the verse says, he will prosper until ‘the indignation’, (the attempted attack on Israel); then our God will wipe him and all his army out. And it will take Israel seven months to bury all the dead.

37He shall pay no attention to the gods of his fathers, or to the one beloved by women. He shall not pay attention to any other god, for he shall magnify himself above all. 38He shall honor the god of fortresses instead of these. A god whom his fathers did not know he shall honor with gold and silver, with precious stones and costly gifts.39He shall deal with the strongest fortress with the help of a foreign god. Those who acknowledge him he shall load with honor. He shall make them rulers over many and shall divide the land for a price.

I know that Putin does not believe in any God, and that he believes in his military and he is spending a good portion of Russia’s income to make the military very strong again. Verse 39 is extremely interesting

‘He shall deal with the strongest fortress with the help of a foreign god.’

I believe the strongest fortress is a good description of the United States, but the verbiage from Daniel has already insisted that Putin does not believe in any type of god, so I would ask you, ‘Why would he need the help of a foreign god?’. The answer is very easy, Putin and Russia don’t, but all his allies are Arabs and almost all of them believe in Allah. And therefore Putin will have to accept Allah to some extent. The US would be very reluctant to take on a war with Russia and all the Arab nations. And just as in the lead up to World War II, the allies did not deal with Hitler as they should have, but let him make war with many countries before they finely declared war on Germany. The US will also stand by and do nothing while the Russian coalition takes over Egypt and prepares to attack Israel.

At the time the Russian and Islamic confederation (RIC) is formed there would probably be some discussion of how the spoils of any war would be divided and who would rule, as is indicated by the rest of verse 39.

39Those who acknowledge him he shall load with honor. He shall make them rulers over many and shall divide the land for a price.

40At that time of the end, the king of the south shall attack him, but the king of the north shall rush upon him like a whirlwind, with chariots and horsemen, and with many ships. And he shall come into countries and shall overflow and pass through. 41He shall come into the glorious land. And tens of thousands shall fall, but these shall be delivered out of his hand: Edom and Moab and the main part of the Ammonites.

It would appear that Egypt is the king of the south, and Russia is king of the north. We know that Egypt is the only Arab country with a peace agreement with Israel; we also know that all the Arab countries are very angry over this agreement. I would theorize that Libya, which will be part of the Russian and Islamic confederation (RIC), could attack Egypt because of this agreement with Israel. When Egypt counter attacks against Libya, the RIC (the army from the north) would come to Libya’s aid and defeat Egypt and take anything of value. The information ‘that Egypt is defeated in a war with this confederation’ is ‘new’ news, as this was not discussed in Ezekiel. However, in Ezekiel, Spain does ask if this huge army has come to loot Israel, as this coalition has already looted Egypt it would explain why this question was asked.

The second sign – (RIC is destroyed by God) The info is from Ezekiel 38-39.

We know from Ezekiel that a huge army comes from Russia and goes through many Arab countries on its way south to Israel, which would explain the last sentence in verse 40 which is,

‘And he shall come into countries and shall overflow and pass through’.

We also know that at one time, in the ancient time of Israel, Israel extended to the east side of the Dead Sea, so they could now come into what was the glorious land, which is now Jordan. We know that Edom and Moab and the main part of the Ammonites is now primarily the country of Jordan which is not an enemy of Israel, they are not allies either, sort of neutral. We know thru Ezekiel that very few Israelis lose their lives in this war with this confederation, so I wonder if these tens of thousands that fall are in Jordan. Jordan is not a part of this Russian alliance, so perhaps it would object to this huge army going through its sovereign territory. Perhaps after all these deaths, Jordan would make a peace agreement with this huge confederation. Another alternative is that the ‘tens of thousands (that) shall fall’ is actually the huge Russian-Islamic conglomerate that pitches their tents in the glorious land.

42He shall stretch out his hand against the countries and the land of Egypt shall not escape. 43He shall become ruler of the treasures of gold and silver, and all the precious things of Egypt, and the Libyans and the Cushites shall follow in his train. 44But news from the east and the north shall alarm him, and he shall go out with great fury to destroy and devote many to destruction. 45And he shall pitch his palatial tents between the sea and the glorious holy mountains. Yet he shall come to his end, with none to help him.

From MacArthur study bible 11:44-45One striking difference between Antiochus IV Epiphanies and the Antichrist lies in the events surrounding the kings death, which do not fit what is known of the death of Antiochus IV. He met his end during a relatively minor campaign against Persia in 164 B.C. not between the sea and Jerusalem after a grand and successful assault on Egypt. When compared to the precision of fulfillment of the previous verses of Ch. 11, these verses may be looking for a greater fulfillment that is yet to come at the time of the end. The glorious holy mountain. This is the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, which perhaps here should be connected to the fall of the Antichrist in the battle of Armageddon.

44But news from the east and the north shall alarm him,

We know what the news from the north is: this is the question ‘In Ezekiel’ from Spain, ‘Do you come to loot?’, perhaps the same question comes from the east, Iraq or Afghanistan.

45And he shall pitch his palatial tents between the sea and the glorious holy mountains. Yet he shall come to his end, with none to help him.

And verse 45 fits exactly with Ezekiel, that this huge coalition will camp between the Dead Sea and the mountains of Israel and God will wipe out Putin and this huge army with no casualties from Israel – And you will know that I Am God. I find this amazing, Daniel and Ezekiel both prophesying that this huge army would set up their camp between the Dead sea and the mountains of Jerusalem and the king and his army would meet their end on this very spot.

With Gods direct involvement in saving the Jewish nation from extinction. People around the world will then realize that there is a God as the fruition of his work wiped out this overwhelming army without any loses to the Israeli nation; ships, planes and ground troops… all lost to the hand of God. The world’s newspapers and electronic media will print that the cause of this loss was the planetary alignment that caused major catastrophic weather anomalies, but Christians around the world will know the truth…it was God’s work.

The third sign – (Nuclear action against RIC) Info from Ezekiel 39:6 and Rev 12:17.

Ezekiel 39:6 reads that God will send fire on Russia, “I will send fire on Magog and on those who live in safety in the coastlands and they will know that I am the Lord”

This will result in 10 Million or more casualties in the United States, and then the United States will respond with a large scale nuclear attack primarily on Russia and Iran; which will result in 70 million casualties. All told I believe that about 100 million people will die as a result of the war in Ezekiel chapter 38 &39. As a result of this nuclear exchange, a part of the world will be uninhabitable due to the nuclear fallout and the fallout will affect the entire world. I believe the after math of the nuclear attacks will be blamed on the United States and will start the hate of the entire world towards Christians.

The first three signs are all wars, which I believe will result in approximately 100 million deaths, which will certainly earn the ‘Death part of Seal #4.

The fourth sign – (Earthquake destroys Mosque) Info from Ezekiel 38:19-20.

19I declare that at that time there shall be a great earthquake in the land of Israel. 20The fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the beasts of the field, every creature that moves along the ground, and all the people on the face of the earth will tremble at my presence. The mountains will be overturned, the cliffs will crumble and every wall will fall to the ground.

This earth quake will destroy the Mosque in Jerusalem and the destruction of the large army opposing Israel will clear the way for the construction of the third Temple in Jerusalem.

The fifth sign – (Formulation of the 10 nation confederation)

The fifth sign is the formulation of the 10 nation confederation. I believe that this will be a direct result of the nuclear exchange between the United States and the Islamic nations, including Russia. The European nations will greatly fear the United States intensions and will form a 10 nation confederation to offset the power of the United States. This confederation will be benign at first, just seeking mutual protection for the confederation from any further aggression from the United States, but this confederation will grow into the worlds most powerful confederation and one day rule the entire world, with the beast as its leader. This confederation is predicted in the bible and will be recognized by Christians. … and Hades was following close behind him. We have already talked about the death portion of seal four, and now we have the Hades portion of seal four.

The sixth sign – (12th Imam becomes known, who is the false prophet)

….and he will be known as the false prophet.

The seventh sign – (Third Temple is completed in 2019)

The seventh sign is the building of the third temple. As all Christians know the temple has to be in place when Christ makes his triumphant and glorious second coming at the seventh trumpet. The earthquake that is mentioned in Ezekiel 38:19 will destroy the mosque that is now in Jerusalem, most opposing Islamic forces will be destroyed in the war, and the 10 nation confederation will not oppose the building of the temple, so it will be completed and dedicated in 2019.

I believe that Christian Pastors throughout the world will use these seven major signs to drive a Christian revival such as the world has never seen. They will have about six years (2016–2022), before the rapture occurs, to win people to Christ, and they will be very effective in their task. By having this long delay between the fourth and fifth seals, God will maximize the number of people that turn to Christ and they will be subsequently raptured. God loves us all and wants to save everyone; these seven signs of the bible will be very plain to the people who open their eyes to see and their ears to hear.

 Session 5

The Third Temple

Ezekiel 40:2 In visions of God he took me to the land of Israel and set me on a every high mountain, on who’s south side were some buildings that looked like a city. 3He took me there, and I saw a man whose appearance was like bronze; he was standing in the gateway with a linen cord and a measuring rod in his hand. 4The man said to me, “Son of man, look with your eyes and hear with your ears and pay attention to everything I am going to show you, for that is why you have been brought here. Tell the house of Israel everything you see.”

Ezekiel then goes on to describe, in great detail, the third temple that will be built in Israel, in chapters 40 – 42.

Ezekiel 43:1 Then the man brought me to the gate facing east, 2and I saw the glory of the God of Israel coming from the east. His voice was like the roar of rushing waters, and the land was radiant with his glory. 3The vision I saw was like the vision I had seen when he came to destroy the city and like the visions I had seen by the Kebar River and I fell facedown. 4The glory of the Lord entered the temple through the gate facing east. 5Then the Sprit lifted me up and brought me into the inner court, and the glory of the Lord filled the temple.

6While the man was standing beside me, I heard someone speaking to me from inside the temple. 7He said: “Son of man, this is the place of my throne and the place for the soles of my feet. This is where I will live among the Israelites forever. The house of Israel will never again defile my holy name–neither they nor their kings–by their prostitution and the lifeless idols of their kings at their high places. 8When they placed their threshold next to my threshold and their doorposts beside my doorpost, with only a wall between me and them, they defiled my holy name by their detestable practices. So I destroyed them in my anger. 9Now let them put away from me their prostitution and lifeless idols of their kings, and I will live among them forever.

10Son of man, describe the temple to the people of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their sins. Let them consider the plan, 11and if they are ashamed of all they have done, make known to them the design of the temple–its arrangements, its exits and entrances–its whole design and all its regulations and laws. Write these down before them so that they may be faithful to its design and follow all its regulations.

I note that the description of the temple contained in Ezekiel chapters 40 – 42 was written before the second temple was built, but the second temple was not built to this description. Therefore the prophesy will be fulfilled with this third temple; built to the specifications contained in these chapters. As described in chapter 43, this is the temple that Jesus will return to upon His second coming.

It is now three years after God has wiped out the great army that was going to wipe out Israel, the year is 2019, and the third temple has been completed and rededicated.

The false prophet will also turn 30 in 2019, and I believe that Satan will take over his body at this time and give him satanic powers. He will become the Mahdi of the Islamic nations and to the over 2.0 billion Muslims around the world. He will be to them as Jesus is to the Christians.

The Rapture

It is now around the end of 2022 and the worlds most dramatic event ever is about to occur. Jesus is talking about the coming rapture in the following narrative; but notice that He is saying every thing will appear to be normal, not that it would be normal:

Matthew 24:38 38For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; 39and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 4oTwo men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. 41Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left.”

I strongly believe that seal number five is the rapture, but we know from the bible that the rapture occurs before tribulation, as is told in Rev 3:10. (Seal 5 is covered in the next section)

Rev 3:10 Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come upon the whole world to test those who live on the earth.

If we look at Revelation 3:10 we will see a promise from Jesus to the Philadelphia church that they will not have to go through the tribulation. So seal number six has to be the start of tribulation and also means that, as indicated in Matthew 24:38, no one will know that seals one thru seal four have been opened (However, some christens will understand that the rapture is very close – Daniel 12:10 None of the wicked will understand, but those who are wise will understand.). As Jesus has said that no one will know that anything is different until He returns at the rapture, which is seal number five. In the next section I will explain this further.

In Macarthur’s study bible it says this about this passage of Rev 3:10:

“Christ’s description — event still future that for a short time severely tests the whole world —  must refer to the time of tribulation, the 7 year period before Christ’s earthly kingdom is consummated, featuring the unleashing of divine wrath in judgments expressed as seals, trumpets, and bowls. The verb “keep” is followed by a preposition whose normal meaning is ‘from” or “out of’ —  this phrase “keep…from” supports the pre-tribulation rapture of the church.”

If, indeed, the rapture happens just before tribulation begins; then we are now in the times of the Philadelphia church. This promise to the Philadelphia church was not a promise to the first century church, as the rapture has still not happened. And the people that were in all seven of the churches listed have long since died; some of the churches no longer even exist; we know that God does not make empty promises, so I believe the churches have to be a chronological manifestation of the churches through out time, from that day (35AD) until the day that the rapture occurs. I believe that we currently are in the generation that the rapture will occur, and therefore we are now in the times of the Philadelphia church with the “Laodicea” church to follow, after all of the Christians are taken out of this world in the rapture.

 Seal #5

The fifth seal is the rapture and is about to happen (2022), before tribulation begins, and is accomplished by the Lord himself ‘with a loud command’.

Rev 6:9 “When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God and the testimony they had maintained 1oThey called out in a loud voice, “How long, Sovereign Lord, holy and true, until you judge the inhabitants of the earth and avenge our blood? “11Then each of them was given a white robe and they were told to wait a little longer, until the number of their fellow servants and brothers who were to be killed as they had been was completed.

Seal number five, happens after God has a great victory over Satan by destroying the huge army that was going to destroy Israel (seal 4). Many nations and individuals will know that God destroyed the army, and the 10 nation confederation has been born and the third temple has been built, and Christian Pastors have been emphasizing that these points indicate that Jesus will soon be returning for the rapture…And now is the time. The belief in God and Jesus will be at an all time high. God loves us so much that he doesn’t want any of us left behind, but the world does not hear or see. After each time that God removes the elect from the world (there will be 3 gatherings of the elect) He ratchets up the violence and the evil things that are happening in the world to induce more people to turn to Him. There has been a lot of violence in the world prior to the rapture, but nothing compared to the violence that will be experienced in the coming tribulation.

Rev6: 11 ‘Then each of them was given a white robe….’

This is the first mention of anyone receiving a white robe. When John was describing the throne in heaven in Revelation chapter 4, there is no mention of anyone wearing a white robe, which leads me to believe that the first rapture has not occurred before the fifth seal is opened. Rev 3:4 tells the significance of white robes.

4 They will walk with me dressed in white, for they are worthy. 3He who overcomes will like them, be dressed in white. I will never blot out his name from the book of life, but will acknowledge his name before my Father and his angels.

He also indicates that they will walk with him, which would indicate a body as souls can’t walk. Souls also can not wear a robe as they must have a body and not be a soul, so these ‘souls under the alter’ have changed. It also indicates that the significance of wearing white is that they have been accepted into heaven and their name is in the book of life. The ‘souls under the alter’ don’t have a body, and therefore can’t wear a white robe, and these souls have not been fully accepted into heaven as they are residing ‘under the alter’. I would suggest that these souls are brought to life and given a new body; just as the living and dead around the world are given new bodies during the first rapture. These souls are a part of the dead, and as such would participate in the first rapture. I believe that while these souls are being given white robes, that the living and the dead around the world will have experienced the first rapture and are also being given white robes.

The following is what John MacArthur has to say about white garments in his book ‘Because the time is near’ p111

While angels do appear in white (John 20:12; Acts 1:10), white garments more commonly are the dress of believers. That is particularly true in the immediate context of Revelation. Christ promised the believers at Sardis that they would “be clothed in white garments” (3:5). He advised the Laodiceans to “buy from Me…white garments so that you may clothe yourself” (3:8). At the marriage supper of the Lamb, his bride will “clothe herself in fine linen, bright and clean” (19:8). White garments symbolize Christ’s righteousness imputed to believers at salvation.

In Rev 20:4 it also talks about the souls that are gathered after the pouring out of the seven bowls of God’s wrath:

“…And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony for Jesus and because of the word of God… They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years,

Here the point is made, that souls have to be brought to life. The souls talked about in Rev 6:11 have been collecting ‘under the alter’, as they were killed, since Jesus rose from the dead in 33AD, until the fifth seal is opened in 2023AD and the rapture occurs. Since they have been waiting so long (almost 2000 years), I believe that this is a very special occasion, and is the first rapture.

People will not know, through the first four seals, that we are in end times. It is not until the fifth seal is accomplished, and all the Christians disappear, that the world knows that something is different. Jesus says in Matthew 24:38:

38For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage; up to the day Noah entered the ark; 39and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 4oTwo men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. 41Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left.

42“Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come. 43But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and he would not have let his house be broken into. 44So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour you do not expect him.

It is now 2022 and the world’s most dramatic event ever has occurred. In the United States one fourth of the population has disappeared, mostly in what is called the heartland of America. The next few years will be especially hard on America as her Christian population was so high and now all of them are gone. As the disappearances was mainly from the heartland the food production has been hit hard, with only half the food being produced as there was pre 2022. The prices for food are skyrocketing and people are starving. Every segment of the business production has been negatively impacted by the disappearances. Because of the high debt level of the country and now the disappearances of so many workers, inflation is running rampant. This is the begging of the end for America, very soon she will become a second rate country,…if not worse. But we know that this has to happen, because within 6 years America will be under the beasts’ control.

Those Pastors and Christians that were left behind because they did not fully trust in, or believe in Jesus, have now witnessed the rapture; which will change their heart. They will form the core of people that will lead in the training and teaching of the new Christians for the next seven years. Unfortunately they will have to endure thru the horrors of tribulation.

And in three and a half years the hour of trial will come upon the whole world to test those who live on the earth.

Seal #6

The birth pains are over, now is the time of the birth. It is now 2026 and the time for the sixth seal to be opened has come, and for the 3 ½ years of tribulation to begin.

Rev 6:12 1 watched as he opened the sixth seal. There was a great earthquake. The sun turned black like sackcloth made of goat hair, the whole moon turned blood red, 13and the stars in the sky fell to earth, as late figs drop from a fig free when shaken by a strong wind. 14The sky receded like a scroll, rolling up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place.

15 Then the kings of the earth, the princes, the generals, the rich, the mighty, and every slave and every free man hid in caves and among the rocks of the mountains. I6They called to the mountains and the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! 17For the great day of their wrath has come, and who can stand?”

God announces important things with an earthquake; it is interesting to note that none of the other seals started with an earthquake, including the start of the opening of the seals. He destroyed the Mosque in Jerusalem with an earthquake. He announces the second gathering of the elect and start of the trumpets with an earthquake. He announces Jesus coming and third gathering of the elect with an earthquake, He announces the completion of Armageddon with the largest earthquake the world has ever seen, and He announces the sixth seal (starting of Tribulation) with an earthquake. In Matthew 24:7, Jesus says:

Nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8A11 these are the beginnings of birth pains.

9Then you will be persecuted and put to death and you will be hated by all nations because of me.

I believe that Jesus is saying that before tribulation starts there will be wars, famines and earthquakes and these are the birth pains. Which are a part of the seals, but the “birth” itself is when tribulation starts (Seal 6).

Joel 2:31: “The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon blood before the great and awesome day of the Lord comes.

Joel is saying in this verse that the tribulation would start when the sun is darkened and the moon turns red, which is also what the sixth seal says:

Rev 6:12 “1 looked when He broke the sixth seal, and there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth made of hair, and the whole moon became like blood:

The sixth seal is the actual start of tribulation. The beast is ruling over the 10 nation confederation and signs a document that confirms the previous agreement with Israel (7 year peace agreement), which kicks off the wrath of tribulation. During the sixth seal (three and a half years in duration), the beast is able to combine the whole world under him; he does this through wars and intrigue. I believe, the sun turning black and the moon turning red is from the warfare that is occurring, but this could also be a super natural event. The stars falling from the sky are the Christian nations falling in warfare with the beast (an outcome of so many people lost, in the Christian nations, to the rapture). And every mountain and island being removed from its place is also a reference to the warfare going on; the names of islands and countries may well be changed when they are taken over by the beast and the severity of the exploding nuclear bombs could well change the topography of the world. At the end of tribulation (3 ½ years) the beast has combined the whole world under him. In the temple in Jerusalem, the beast commits the abomination of desolation, and nullifies the agreement with the Jewish nation. The second gathering of the elect occurs, and the trumpets start. Jesus in Mathew in 24:9:

15 Then the kings of the earth, the princes, the generals, the rich, the mighty, and every slave and every free man hid in caves and among the rocks of the mountains. I6They called to the mountains and the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! 17For the great day of their wrath has come, and who can stand?”

While I believe that close to 100 million people will be killed in seal number four, I believe this number will pale in comparison to the amount of people that will die in the tribulation. If all the people of the world are trying to hide in caves and the mountains, it sounds like no one will be safe in the cities. This could indicate that nuclear action is destroying many cities that are resisting being controlled by the beast and that some of the cities controlled by the beast are being nuked by those who believe in freedom. There is a way to avoid the tribulation, trust and believe in Jesus now.

9Then you will be persecuted and put to death and you will be hated by all nations because of me.

After the beast has taken over all nations, he will eliminate all religions and substitute the belief in him as the one and only God, and the hate for Christians will continue to grow. As seal number six says.

Rev 6:16… “Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! 17For the day of their wrath has come, and who can stand?”

This indicates that all the religious people have to hide from the beast (face of him who sits on the throne) and all the non religious people are trying to hide from the wrath of the Lamb, Jesus.

It even says in seal six that the great day of wrath has come: (Tribulation)

Rev 6:17 “For the day of their wrath has come, and who can stand?”

The Second Gathering of the Elect

(It is now the end of tribulation (2029) and it has been about 7 years since the rapture and there is a great multitude of new Christians who now truly believe in Jesus)

2 Thessalonians 2:1 ‘Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to him we ask you, brothers, 2not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by some prophecy, report or letter supposed to have come from us, saying that the day of the Lord has already come. 3Dont let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction, 4He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God

Clearly Paul is not talking about the rapture in 2 Thessalonians 2:1, Jesus says that when the rapture occurs, in Mat: 24:36

So the qualifiers that Paul puts on ‘the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to him’ of ‘the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed’ is not consistent with those of the rapture as spelled out by Jesus and therefore Paul must be talking about another gathering of the elect after ‘the man of lawlessness is revealed’; and the bible tells us that the man of lawlessness is revealed at the beginning of tribulation when he signs the 7 year peace agreement with Israel. This qualifier ‘that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God occurs at the end of tribulation and before the great tribulation starts. If this gathering of the elect was the one that occurs at the second coming of Christ, I would think that the qualifier that Paul would have stated would have been the one stated in:

Matthew 24:30:

“At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory, 31And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

I would suggest that what Paul is saying is that the second gathering of the elect will occur when the beast calls himself ‘God’ in the temple, at the midpoint of tribulation.

Now I’ll describe how this second gathering of the elect takes place.

Rev 8:1 “When he opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour.”

The first word in this sentence is ‘When’, which means that the timing of this verse could happen at any time. I believe that the great multitude is gathered after the seventh seal is opened, but before the trumpets start.

Rev 7:1

1After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds of the earth to prevent any wind from blowing on the land or on the sea or any tree. 2Then I saw another angel coming up from the east, having the seal of the living God. He called out in a loud voice to the four angels who had been given power to harm the land and said: 3”Do not harm the land and the sea or any trees until we put a seal on the foreheads of the servants of our God.” 4Then I heard the number of those who were sealed: 144,000 from all the tribes of Israel.

(Verse 5-8 lists each tribe and the number of Israeli’s that are sealed.)

9 After this I looked and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands.

What I think happens is, after He opens the seventh seal (Rev 8:1), while it is silent in heaven for half an hour (the verse 7:1 indicates the silence in 8:1 is caused by no wind blowing on earth), the angel of Rev 7:2 (coming from the east and has the seal of the living God —  perhaps an archangel) is gathering the ‘great multitude’, and then putting a seal on the foreheads of the ‘144,000’. John has written that the 144,000 were sealed in verse 4. And then starts off verse 9 with the words “After this I looked and there before me was a great multitude”, which would indicate that John saw the great multitude in heaven right after he heard the number of Israelis sealed, so the great multitude had to be gathered first, before they could have been seen in heaven; I believe that the great multitude was gathered before the 144,000 were sealed. I also note that they were dressed in white, just as the saints were in the first rapture.

Revelation 7:9-17, John has written this about the great multitude:

Rev 7:9 After this I looked and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. 10And they cried out in a loud voice:

“Salvation belongs to our God,

Who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.”

11All the angles were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures. They fell down on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, 12saying:

“Amen!

Praise and glory and wisdom and thanks and honor

and power and strength be to our God for ever and ever.

Amen!”

13Then one of the elders asked me, “These in the white robes–who are they, and where did they come from?”

14I answered, “Sir, you know.”

And he said, “These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the lamb.”

15Therefore,

“they are before the throne of God and serve him day and night in his temple

and he who sits on the throne will spread his tent over them.

Then it goes on to read in Rev 7:16

16“Never again will they hunger; never again will they thirst”

They have certainly hungered and thirsted during the seal judgments. Then it switches to future tense when it reads:

Rev 7:16 continues

“The sun will not beat upon them nor any scorching heat”

As the first three trumpets are all about heat it makes me believe; that they did not go through the great tribulation, but rather came out of the great tribulation before it started.

Thessalonians 4:15 According to the Lord’s own word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left till the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first 17After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.

I believe that this is saying that there will be 3 gatherings of the elect, with the first one being called the rapture. And the rapture will be carried out by the Lord himself. The second gathering of the elect will happen after the seventh seal is opened, and is done with an archangel in charge, and the third gathering of the elect will happen after the seventh trumpet and be completed by angels sent by the Lord. Then a gathering also happens after the bowls of wrath are poured out, when only the dead are raised, the living, that are in Christ, go on to repopulate the earth. So the total gathering of the elect are 3 ½ gatherings, a number that has a lot of significance as I believe that it will be 3 ½ years from the rapture to the beginning of tribulation, 3 ½ years to the beginning of the great tribulation, and 3 ½ years to the second coming of Jesus Christ.

The second gathering of the elect, those alive and dead, happens after the seventh seal has been opened and is accomplished by ‘the voice of the archangel’. After the second gathering of the elect comes the great tribulation, and I believe that 1-2 billion people will be killed in the tribulation, I believe this number will pale in comparison to the amount of people that will die in the great tribulation. There is a way to avoid the great tribulation, trust and believe in Jesus now.

The rapture was the gathering of the ‘Philadelphia Church’, and this second gathering of the elect is the gathering of the last church, the ‘Laodicea Church’, and this completes the church age. Christians will no longer be guided by the indwelling ‘Holy Spirit’, and the church age comes to a close.

The third gathering of the elect, those alive and dead, happens after Jesus has made his triumphant return, which is after the seventh ‘trumpet call of God’.

If the world has, for the second time, lost all the Christians; who is going to teach the world about Christianity? That’s the purpose of the 144,000 that have been sealed; they are scattered though out the world and will teach and live as Christians for the next 3½ years, during the great tribulation. They have been sealed by god and therefore, none of them will die over the next 3 ½ years.

MacArthur, in his book ‘Because the time is near’ p142 has this to say about the 144,000.

That there were 12,000 sealed from every tribe of the sons of Israel speaks of God’s elective purpose. Mere random human choice would not come up with such an even division. While the tribal records were lost when the Romans sacked Jerusalem in A.D. 70, God knows who belongs to each tribe.

The specific tribal names in this list raise three interesting questions. Why is Judah listed first, even though Reuben was the firstborn? Why is the tribe of Dan omitted, and why is Ephraim omitted in favor of his father, Joseph? Reuben forfeited his birthright as punishment for his sexual misconduct with his father’s concubine (1 Chronicles 5:1). The omission of the tribe of Dan in favor of the priestly tribe of Levi probably is due to the tribe’s reputation for idolatry (Deuteronomy 29:18-21). While Dan will share in the millennial blessings (Ezekiel 48:1-2, 32), the tribe will not be selected for this duty nor protected during the tribulation. Similarly, the name of Ephraim is omitted in favor of his father Joseph because Ephraim defected from the ruling house of Judah (Isaiah 7:17). Like Dan, Ephraim was consumed with idolatry (Hosea 4:17). His brother Manasseh is included because he was the faithful son of Joseph.

The beast at this time has voided the seven year peace agreement with Israel and he has committed the abomination of desolation in the temple.

I believe God loves us so much that he wants to save as many of us as possible, and limit the amount of Christians that die in tribulation. (The reason for so many gatherings of the elect). It is now 2029 and time for the great tribulation to begin.

The Two Witnesses

The two witnesses are written about in chapter 11 of revelations. Chapter 11 starts out with John being told to go and measure the temple of God and the altar. It is called the temple of God because its dimensions and exact measurements are given to Ezekiel by God and he writes about these dimensions and measurements in Ezekiel chapters 40–42. This future temple will be built to those specifications. And in chapter 43:1 of Ezekiel writes about the Lord’s return to this temple:

1Then the man brought me to the gate facing east, 2and I saw the glory of the God of Israel coming from the east. 5Then the Spirit lifted me up and brought me into the inter court and the glory of the Lord filled the temple.

6While the man was standing beside me, I heard someone speaking to me from inside the temple. 7He said: ‘Son of man, this is the place of my throne and the place for the soles of my feet. This is where I will live among the Israelites forever. The house of Israel will never again defile my holy name—neither they nor their kings—by their prostitution and the lifeless idols of their high places. 8When they placed their threshold next to my threshold and their doorpost beside my doorpost, with only a wall between me and them, they defiled my holy name by their detestable practices. So I destroyed them in my anger. 9Now let them put away from me their prostitution and the lifeless idols of their kings, and I will live among them forever.

10”Son of man, describe the temple to the people of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their sins. Let them consider the plan, 11and if they are ashamed of all they have done, make known to them the design of the temple—its arrangements, its exits and entrances–its whole design and all its regulations and laws. Write these down before them so that they may be faithful to its design and follow all its regulations.

John is told in Rev 11:1 to ‘count the worshipers there’ in the temple, but all of the true believers have just been taken to heaven in the second gathering of the elect; so there will be no true believers of Jesus in the temple. The temple will be empty of true worshipers, only the two witnesses will be there. John is told not to measure the outer court because it has been given to the Gentiles, and they will occupy the outer court for the next 3 ½ years until Jesus come back to earth. The temple belongs to God and nothing will happen to it during the tribulation period; the witnesses, clothed in sackcloth, will occupy it until they are killed when they finish their testimony in 3 ½ years.

Rev 11:4 gives an additional description of the two witnesses:

4These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands that stand before the Lord of the earth. 5If anyone tries to harm them, fire comes from their mouths and devours their enemies. This is how anyone who wants to harm them must die. 6These men have power to shut up the sky so that it will not rain during the time they are prophesying; and they have power to turn the waters into blood and strike the earth with every kind of plague as often as they want.

The olive tree stands for holiness and the lampstands stands for churches, the witnesses and the 144,000 sealed Israelis will become the foundation for the church movement for the next 3 ½ years of the great tribulation. The seven churches, ending with the Laodicea church, mentioned in Rev 2–3 have come to a close with the second gathering of the elect, and the holy spirit that indwelt every Christian was revoked by Jesus at that time. The witnesses have become ‘the church leaders’ for the duration of the great tribulation. The witnesses are prophets with special powers granted to them by God. They can not be killed until their testimony has been completed and they have the ability to strike the earth with any plague as often as they want. They’re main purpose is to witness for God and to win saints (mainly Jews) by their preaching and prophesizing They will call down the seven plagues or trumpets judgments, and the world will hate them because of the prophesies and plagues they are causing.

These first four trumpet judgments are Gods response to the beast having voided the seven year peace agreement with Israel and committing the abomination of desolation in the Gods sacred temple. And in defiance of Satan the witnesses will occupy the temple for all of the great tribulation.

 Session 6

The first Four Trumpets

Rev 8:6: Then the seven angles who had the seven trumpets prepared to sound them.

7The first angel sounded his trumpet, and there came hail and fire mixed with blood, and it was hurled down upon the earth. A third of the earth was burned up, a third of the trees were burned up, and all the green grass was burned up.

8The second angel sounded his trumpet, and something like a huge mountain, all ablaze, was thrown into the sea. A third of the sea turned into blood, 9a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed.

10The third angel sounded his trumpet, and a great star, blazing like a torch, fell from the sky on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water–11the name of the star is Worm wood. A third of the waters turned bitter, and many people died from the waters that had become bitter.

12The fourth angel sounded his trumpet, and a third of the sum was struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them turned dark. A third of the day was without light, and also a third of the night.

13As I watched, I heard an eagle that was flying in midair call out in a loud voice. “Woe! Woe! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth, because of the trumpet blats about to be sounded by the other three angels!”

I believe the beast, or false God, will have an explanation for these first four catastrophes that have happened to the earth. Which will sound something like this: The catastrophes that have hit the earth are all very rare but normal things that have happened many times in earth’s history. In this case a comet and asteroid that were headed on the same path towards earth collided, the asteroid which was moving at a faster rate than the comet, caught up to the comet and struck it from behind, this caused the ice and the loose particles at the front of the comet to be knocked loose from the comet and accelerate on the same path as the comet and asteroid. This collision also caused the comet to accelerate, so that the ice and loose particles formed a group followed by the comet and then the asteroid. The gap between the three objects increased greatly over time. The first group of comet particles and ice hit the earths atmosphere and the larger particles formed the fire in the sky which caused many of the trees and all the grass to burn; while the individual ice particles melted and mixed with the red dust like particles from the comet to form what looked like blood raining from the sky.

The second event was the main body of the comet arriving and, after its fiery path through the atmosphere, it crashed into the ocean causing a tidal wave which caused all the ships to be sunk. The comets collision with the sea caused the red comet to shatter into millions of smaller pieces and dissolve into sea, turning it into what looks like blood and the toxicity of the comet caused so many of the sea creatures to die.

The third event was the asteroid arriving; the iron in the asteroid caused the spectacular blazing, star like fire in the sky before it blasted into the ground like a nuclear bomb exploding. The heat shock during it’s path through the atmosphere caused the Nitrogen and Oxygen in the atmosphere to react causing the production of the Nitric Acid rain which turned all the water it contacted to be bitter tasting poison. The bitter taste of the water reminds us of the herb Wormwood, which is the bitterest herb known, and this is what has given this asteroid its name.

The fourth event was caused by the third event. The asteroid struck the earth with such force that millions of tons of dust particles were kicked up into the stratosphere which rotate around the world at a slower rate than the earth is turning. This causes a third of both day and night to be affected by this gigantic cloud of dust particles.

However, the explanation of these events by the beast does not explain how the witnesses foretold each of these events; some even say they caused these events to happen. The witnesses say that: ‘The events are the result of the trumpet judgments’, which were called out by God almost 2000 years ago, and written in Revelation 8:7-13. They will all happen within a few months after the great tribulation has started, in response to the beasts’ desecration of Gods holy temple.

The beast out of the earth ‘comes out’ at the beginning of the great tribulation with the revelation that he believes that the first beast is indeed God, and as Rev 13:12 reads:

12He exercised all the authority of the first beast on his behalf, and made the earth and its inhabitants worship the first beast, whose fatal wound had been healed. 13‘And he performed great and miraculous signs, even causing fire to come down from heaven to earth in full view of men. 14Because of the signs he was given power to do on behalf of the first beast, he deceived the inhabitants of the earth.

At this point in time, which is shortly after the great tribulation has started, the false prophet begins his campaign to have the whole earth recognize and declare their loyalty to the first beast.

At this point Satan feels he is winning because he is give the key to open the shaft of the Abyss which is his dominion.

The first Woe

The fifth trumpet

Rev 9:1 The fifth angel sounded his trumpet, and I saw a star that had fallen from the sky to the earth. The star was given the key to the shaft of the Abyss. 2When he opened the Abyss, smoke rose from it like the smoke from a gigantic furnace. The sun and sky were darkened by the smoke from the Abyss. 3And out of the smoke locusts came down upon the earth and were given power like that of scorpions of the earth. 4They were told not to harm the grass of the earth or any plant or tree, but only those people who did not have the seal of God on their foreheads. 5They were not given power to kill them, but only to torture them for five months. And the agony they suffered was like that of the sting of a scorpion when it strikes a man. 6During those days men will seek death, but will not find it; they will long to die, but death will elude them.

7The locusts looked like horses prepared for battle. On their heads they wore something like crowns of gold, and their faces resembled human faces. 8Their hair was like women’s hair, and their teeth were like lions’ teeth. 9They had breastplates like breastplates of iron, and the sound of their wings was like the thundering of many horses and chariots rushing into battle. 10They had tails and stings like scorpions, and in their tails they had power to torment people for five months. 11They had as king over them the angel of the Abyss, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in Greek, Apollyon.

12The first woe is past; two other woes are yet to come.

The first woe is again predicted by the witnesses shortly before it begins. The star that had fallen from the sky to the earth is Satan, who fell to earth almost 2000 years ago. The shaft was caused by the asteroid plunging deeply into the earth, and Satan was allowed to release these demonic creatures from this shaft. But what Satan meant as evil, the witnesses turned into good as the demonic locusts were told by the witnesses that they could not eat any grass, plant or tree or harm any people that had the seal of God on their foreheads. So the locusts lived for five months before starving to death from the lack of any food.

 The Second Woe

The sixth Trumpet

At this point, the mark application has been going on for some time, and there is a rebellion to receiving this mark by the new Christians in three different geographical areas. The two hundred million mounted troops, which are in charge of the enforcement of the application of the mark, put down the rebellion by force. (I note that some of the experts of the bible say that the two hundred million mounted troops are the troops of Armageddon, but I believe that these troops are mentioned as part of the second woe. Armageddon is actually part of the third woe, and I believe the amounts of troops involved in Armageddon are much larger than two hundred million.)

13The sixth angel sounded his trumpet and I heard a voice coming from the horns of the golden attar that is before God. 14It said to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, “Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates.” 15And the four angels who had been kept ready for this very hour and day and month and year were released to kill a third of mankind. 16The number of the mounted troops was two hundred million. I heard their number.

17The horses and riders in my vision looked like this; Their breastplates were fiery red, dark blue, and yellow as sulfur. The heads of the horses resembled the heads of lions, and out of their mouths came fire, smoke and sulfur. 18A third of mankind was killed by the three plagues of fire, smoke and sulfur that came out of their mouths. 19The power of the horses was in their mouths and in their tails; for their tails were like snakes, having heads with which they inflict injury.

20The rest of mankind that were not killed by these plagues still did not repent of the work of their hands; they did not stop worshiping demons, and idols of gold, silver, bronze, stone and wood–idols that cannot see or hear or walk. 21Nor did they repent of their murders, their magic arts, their sexual immorality or their thefts.

I believe that what John was seeing and describing in verse 17 are actually modern day tanks, with machine guns in the rear. Between those individuals who refuse to take the mark of the beast and those that are killed in the three armed conflicts, a third of the population will die, around two billion people.

The Angel and the Little Scroll

Rev 10:1 Then I saw another mighty angel coming down from heaven. He was robed in a cloud, with a rainbow above his head; his face was like the sun, and his legs were like fiery pillars. 2He was holding a little scroll, which lay open in his hand. He planted his right foot on the sea and his left foot on the land, 3and he gave a loud shout like the roar of a lion. When he shouted, the voices of the seven thunders spoke. 4And when the seven thunders spoke, I was about to write; but I heard a voice from heaven say, ”Seal up what the seven thunders have said and do not write it down.”

5Then the angel I had seen standing on the sea and on the land raised his right hand to heaven. 6And he swore by him who lives for ever and ever, who created the heavens and all that is in them, the earth and all that is in it, and the sea and all that is in it, and said, “There will be no more delay! 7But in the days when the seventh angel is about to sound his trumpet, the mystery of God will be accomplished, just as he announced to his servants the prophets.”

8Then the voice that I had heard from heaven spoke to me once more: “Go, take the scroll that lies open in the hand of the angel who is standing on the sea and on the land.”

9So I went to the angel and asked him to give me the little scroll. He said to me, “Take it and eat it. It will turn your stomach sour, but in your mouth it will be as sweet as honey.” I took the little scroll from the angel’s hand and ate it. It tasted as sweet as honey in my mouth, but when I had eaten it, my stomach turned sour. 11Then I was told, “You must prophesy again about many peoples, nations, languages and kings.”

The mystery of God that will be accomplished, just as he announced to his servants the prophets, is that, ‘Jesus is about to make His glorious and triumph second coming’. And His coming is as sweet as honey, even sweeter; but his coming means that Armageddon is just around the corner.

It is now getting close to the end of the great tribulation and, after the witnesses have completed their testimony, God will allow the beast to kill the prophets. After they have been dead for 3 ½ days the angels will resurrect them along with all the other worlds saints, after the seventh trumpet sounds, in the second coming of Jesus.

Rev 11:11

11But after the three and a half days a breath of life from God entered them, and they stood on their feet, and terror struck those who saw them.

The Seventh Trumpet

The Third Woe

The seventh trumpet sounds now, and Jesus is about to make his triumphant and glorious return to earth. I will now describe what is happening on earth, and what was happening in heaven during the same time frame.

Matthew 24:29 “Immediately after the distress of those days”

‘the sun will be darkened and the moon will not give its light; The stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.’

30“At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory. And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heavens to the other.”

Jesus has made His triumphant and glorious return and the seventh trumpet sounds. Jesus then sends His angels to gather the elect from around the world. If we go to verses Rev 14:14-16 John describes how the third gathering of the elect takes place:

“I looked, and there before me was a white cloud, and seated on the cloud was one “like a son of man” with a crown of gold on his head and a sharp sickle in his hand. I5Then another angel came out of the temple and called out in a loud voice. “Take your sickle and reap, because the time to reap has come, for the harvest of earth is ripe.” 16So he who was seated on the cloud swung sickle over the earth and the earth was harvested”

Rev 11:12 The two witnesses along with all the other saints of the world are gathered in the second coming of Jesus, and there will be woe for those left behind, for this is the third and last gathering of the elect and there will be no wedding celebration in heaven for those left behind—only Armageddon.

The two witnesses ascend into heaven:

12Then they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, “Come up here.” And they went up to heaven in a cloud, while their enemies looked on.

Meanwhile the angels were gathering all the elect on earth while the following was happening in heaven at the same time:

Rev 11:15

15The seventh angle sounded his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, which said:

“The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he will reign for ever and ever.”

16And the twenty-four elders, who were seated on their thrones before God, fell on their faces and worshiped God, 17saying:

“We give thanks to you, Lord God Almighty,

the One who is and who was,

because you have taken your great power and have begun to reign.

18The nations were angry; and your wrath has come.

The time has come for judging the dead, and rewarding your servants the prophets

and your saints and those who reverence your name, both small and great

and for destroying those who destroy the earth”

19Then God’s temple in heaven was opened, and within his temple was seen the ark of his covenant. And there came flashes of lighting, rumblings, peals of thunder, an earthquake and a great hailstorm.

The earthquake mentioned in verse 19 was occurring on earth, as mentioned in Rev 11:13

13At that very hour there was a severe earthquake and a tenth of the city collapsed. Seven thousand people were killed in the earthquake, and the survivors were terrified and gave glory to the God of heaven.

Jesus has judged those on earth that have believed in him, and the following describe the third gathering of the elect as they arrive in heaven:

Rev 15:2

“And I saw what looked like a sea of glass mixed with fire and standing beside the sea, those who had been victorious over the beast and his image and over the number of his name. They held harps given them by God 3and sang the song of Moses the servant of God and the song of the Lamb:”

If we go back to 14:2-3, John is saying, “And I heard a sound from heaven like the roar of rushing waters and like a loud peal of thunder. The sound I heard was like that of harpist playing their harps. 3And they sang a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders.

We can see that John, while looking at Jesus standing on Mount Zion with the 144,000, could hear the elect in heaven, who had been victorious over the beast and his image and over the number of his name, playing their harps and singing. This would then indicate these two events were happening at the same time. Jesus then goes back to heaven with the 144,000, and joins the elect (the individuals both alive and the risen dead, who were already in heaven) and He gives them new bodies. This completes the group (the individuals of all three gatherings of the elect plus the 144,000) that will participate in the marriage of the Lamb to the church.

Rev 11:14

14The second woe has passed; the third woe is coming soon.

The Wedding of the Lamb

Now let’s look at Rev 19:6 where it reads:

6Then I heard what sounded like a great multitude, like the roar of rushing waters and like loud peals of thunder, shouting:

“Hallelujah!

For our Lord God Almighty reigns.

“Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory!

For the wedding of the lamb has come, and the bride has made herself ready.

8Fine linen, bright and clean to wear.”

(Fine linen stands for the righteous acts of the saints.)

9Then the angel said to me, “Write: ‘Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding super of the Lamb!’” And he added, “These are the true words of God.”

10At this I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, “Do not do it! I am a fellow servant with you and with your brothers who hold to the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”

The Bowls of Wrath

All that are in heaven are given fine linen, bright and clean to wear. It would appear that the wedding of the church and the Lamb occurs during the time of the seven bowls of wrath being poured out (45 days), while the temple of God is closed to anyone trying to enter. I say this occurs during the 45 day period because the 3½ year great tribulation period ends with Jesus returning to earth (which he has already done) and gathering His flock. In Daniel 12:11-12 reads:

“From the time that the daily sacrifice is abolished and the abomination that causes desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days. 12Blessed is one who waits for and reaches the end of the 1,335 days.”

I hope the following will explain this verse in Daniel. The abomination of desolation occurs just before the great tribulation begins, at the midpoint of tribulation, which means that there are 1290 days left before Jesus returns at the second coming. Thus there are 45 (1335 -1290) days left for all the bowls of wrath to be poured out. To summarize, the seventh trumpet sounds, Jesus comes back to earth to meet the 144,000, and sends his angels to raise the dead and gather the elect. Then goes back to heaven with the 144,000 to join the elect already in heaven, and weds the church; while the wedding is occurring the bowls of wrath are being poured out. It is a time of high celebration in heaven. And this concludes the raising of the elect, those who have believed in Jesus without seeing His second return. And some of these elect will be seated on thrones and be given the authority to judge. (Rev 20:4)

At this point there are some people left on earth who have not taken the mark of the beast and do not worship him. But these people also do not have faith and trust in Jesus, because all the people that do have faith and trust Jesus have just been gathered from earth in the third gathering of the elect. These people have seen all the seals opened, the rise of the 10 nation confederation, the temple built, the false prophet, the beast, the trumpets, the three gatherings, and the return of Christ. Only with the return of Christ, which every eye on earth will see, will most of the individuals of earth that have avoided receiving the mark and who have not worshiped the beast, will now finely believe and have faith in Him…and God loves the world so much that it is still not too late for them…

Daniel 12:11-12: 12Blessed is one who waits for and reaches the end of the 1,335 days.

Truly blessed….

The bowls of wrath are poured out.

Revl5:6-8 reads:

“Out of the temple came the seven angels with the seven plagues. They were dressed in clean, shining linen and wore golden sashes around their chests. 7Then one of the four living creatures gave to the seven angels seven golden bowls filled with the wrath of God, who lives for ever and ever, 8And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory and his power, and no one could enter the temple until the seven plagues of the seven angels were completed.

16:1 Then I heard a loud voice from the temple saying to the seven angels, “Go, pour out the seven bowls of God’s wrath on the earth.”

2The first angel went and poured out his bowl on the land, and ugly and painful sores broke out on the people who had the mark of the beast and worshiped his image.

3The second angle went and poured out his bowl on the sea, and it turned into blood like that of a dead man, and every living thing in the sea died.

4The third angle poured out his bowl on the rivers and springs of waters, and they became blood. 5Then I heard the angel in charge of the waters say:

“You are just in these judgments,

you who are and who were, the Holy One,

because you have so judged;

6for they have shed the blood of your saints and prophets,

and you have given them blood to drink as they deserve.”

7And I heard the alter respond:

“Yes, Lord God Almighty, true and just are your judgments.”

8The fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and the sun was given power to scorch people with fire. 9They were seared by the intense heat and cursed the name of God, who had control over these plagues, but they refused to repent and glorify him.

10The fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and his kingdom was plunged into darkness. Men gnawed their tongues in agony 11and cursed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, but they refused to repent of what they had done.

12The sixth angle poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up to prepare the way for the kings from the East. 13Then I saw three evil spirits that looked like frogs; they came out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet. 14They are spirits of demons performing miraculous signs, and they go out to the kings of the whole world to gather them for battle on the great day of God Almighty.

Satan uses his considerable evil satanic power to convince all the kings of the earth to send all available manpower to battle Jesus at Armageddon. I would estimate this to be 1-2 billion people.

I believe that the bowls of wrath are not intended by God up to this point in time to kill any of the people in the world. They will serve as extreme punishment for the evil ones of the world and as patient endurance for those that have accepted the love of God and have finely chosen to believe and trust in Jesus.

15”Behold, I come like a thief! Blessed is he who stays awake and keeps his clothes with him, so that he may not go naked and be shamefully exposed.”

I believe that this verse (16:15) is referring to this verse: Rev 14:17-20

“Another angel came out of the temple in heaven, and he too had a sharp sickle. 18Still another angel, who had charge of the fire, came from the alter and called in a loud voice to him who had the sharp sickle, “Take your sharp sickle and gather the clusters of grapes from the earth‘s vine, because its grapes are ripe.” I9The angel swung his sickle on the earth, gathered its grapes and threw them into the great winepress of God’s wrath. 20 They were trampled in the winepress outside the city, and blood flowed out of the press, rising as high as the horses’ bridles for a distance of 1,600 stadia.

Those alive around the world that still do not believe in Christ and who are not a part of the military that have gone to Armageddon, are transported to Armageddon by angels. I believe this would also be 1-2 billion people, for a total of 2-4 billion people that will be killed in Armageddon.

(Those who are in Christ remain where they are, and repopulate the world.)

Armageddon

The seventh bowl of Wrath

Rev 16:17

17The seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air, and out of the temple came a loud voice from the throne, saying,”

“It is done!”

18Then there came flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder and a sever earthquake. No earthquake like it has ever occurred since man has been on earth, so tremendous was the quake. 19The great city split into three parts, and the cities of the nations collapsed. God remembered Babylon the great and gave her the cup filled with the wine of fury of his wrath. 20Every island fled away and the mountains could not be found. 21From the sky huge hailstones of about a hundred pounds each fell upon men. And they cursed God on account of the plague was so terrible.

Then as a part of the seventh bowl being poured out, Jesus rides out on his white horse and goes to Armageddon. Between the people that are transported, by the angles, from around the world to Armageddon and the armies of the world converging on Armageddon, between 2-4 billion people who do not have faith in God are killed in Armageddon:

Rev 19:11-21

“1 saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and makes war. I2His eyes are blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself. I3He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood and his name is the word of God. 14The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean. 15Out of his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. “He will rule them with an iron scepter.” He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. 16On his robe and on his thigh he has his name written:

KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS

17And I saw an angel standing in the sun, who cried in a loud voice to all the birds flying in midair, “come, gather together for the great supper of God, 18so that you may eat the flesh of kings, generals, and mighty men, of horses and their riders, and the flesh of all people, free and slave, small and great.

19Then I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to make war against the rider on the horse and his army. 2oBut the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who had performed the miraculous signs on his behalf With these signs he had deluded those who had received the mark of the beast and worshiped his image. The two of them were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur. 21The rests of them were killed with the sword that came out of the mouth of the rider on the horse and all the birds gorged themselves on their flesh.

After the bowls of wrath are poured out, the living that believe in Jesus are allowed to go on living and repopulate the earth, and the dead that are in Christ are raised to life.

Rev 20:4 … “And l saw souls of those that had been beheaded because of their testimony for Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or the image and had not received his mark on their forehead or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years.”

These are the souls of those who are in Christ, and were killed during the 45 days that the bowls of God’s wrath were being poured out. While this doesn’t say they were given white robs, it does say that they were brought to life and reined a thousand years, as part of the first resurrection. Perhaps they were not included in the marriage of church and the Lamb because of their late conversion (Jesus has already made his return to earth), and because they converted either during or after the marriage of the Lamb to the church.

The rest of the souls of the first resurrection are the saints and the righteous of all ages.

Rev 20:6

Blessed and holy are those who have part in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with Him for a thousand years.

The next resurrection will occur after the thousand years are over when the great white throne judgment occurs.

Rev 20:11

Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. Earth and sky fled from his presence, and there was no place for them. 12And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. 13The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what he had done. 14Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. 15If anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

I know that looking at the description of what is happening in the last section that I have just written-that I do not want to be a part of this judgment. In verse 12 what is being described is not size, but rather good and bad and in which realm you will spend eternity. As each person is being judged on the life they have lived. There will be some that are judged to have lived their life in a good enough fashion to be judged worthy of going to heaven. Perhaps the dead being described here are those who died during the millennial time frame, I am not sure, it could also be all of the unsaved who have ever lived.

Conclusion

Am I an old man dreaming dreams as the prophet Joel said, or am I just another person that has the delusion that only he understands the meaning of Revelation? Only you can decide. I believe that scripture bears out what has been reveled to me. For those who doubt, I would remind them that the date of the birth of Jesus was written in the Old Testament and yet the Jews did not recognize his coming even though he fulfilled all the requirements in the Old Testament. Whatever the conclusion, believe in God, the future of your soul depends on it.
